Super cool space but the ordering system is way too clunky. At least make a separate line for drinks/food? I think it might work when there’s no crowd, but it leads to super long wait times to just order a beer. This place could be great and I hope they make some changes. Just my $.02.

Came in for opening day, and holds up the level of excellence of its other properties south of the river. Excellent service, great atmosphere that leans into rich mahogany and leather as well as contrasting bright subway tile. Of course, the beers and cocktails were on point 👌

The space is nice, cool decor and nice spacious booths (love a booth) but the service is wanting and some very strange issues with the food. Our party of 3 ordered two apps and 3 entrees. One entree came out almost immediately, and the remaining items all came out about 20 minutes later, half of which were cold. Burger and fries seriously cold while cauliflower bites were piping hot. Tots lukewarm. Ramekins of ketchup and ranch were literally filled up about a 1/3 full for our tots but filled normally for the cauliflower bites. These types of inconsistencies don't inspire a ton of confidence for me. I write this review in hopes this place can get it together because it is a cool space and I want any new business in the area to succeed.

Very clean and beautifully renovated space, with a ton of room for couples, a 21+ bar area, and families. A huge selection of 85+ beers on draft and a full bar. The patio space really shines, as does the comfortable indoor seating and leather booths. No table service. A big drawback is that it’s a number system where you order at the bar. The line funnel to order at the entrance is awkward and an interesting design choice. It clogs up easily and the menus for everything are paper menus at the bar top, so you have to go around the line to get to them. Food we had was decent - but very small portions, on a very limited menu. Chicken on my sandwich was super thin and basic. It’s the first day so definitely several things that could be improved on. They’ll get it dialed in. I won’t knock them for anything on my rating on this first day. As I plan on returning many times and updating my review and photos.

Have visited a couple times now - certain to be a regular place! Service is as fast as it can be with many people coming in and still getting up to speed. Come in expecting busy new business speeds. Great selection of beers - truly something for everyone. Food has been fantastic so far. Some of the best chicken and sweet potato fries I've found in town, and I don't say that lightly.

We stopped by Loyal Legion for lunch and left feeling a bit underwhelmed overall. The atmosphere and beer hall concept are definitely the strong points here — the space has a cool industrial vibe, plenty of seating, and a large beer selection that seems to be what draws most people in.  I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and while it looked decent, it lacked much flavor and felt pretty average for the price. The chicken itself was fine but not especially memorable. My friend ordered the fried chicken sandwich, which had a nice crispy texture, but it was dry and fairly basic overall. The food wasn’t terrible, just disappointing considering the reputation and atmosphere. Service was acceptable, and the restaurant itself was clean and lively, but the food didn’t really match the energy of the place. This feels more like a good spot to grab drinks and socialize than a destination for a great meal. I’d maybe come back for beers and the atmosphere, but probably not specifically for the food.

Love having this place in the neighborhood. Amazing tap list, chicken sando and tots were excellent, indoors and out both great.
