Funny Bone Comedy Club

Just visited the new Funny Bone location in Virginia Beach and it’s a huge upgrade way bigger, much nicer, and a great overall vibe. The setup makes it easy to actually enjoy the show and feel comfortable. We went to see Kountry Wayne and he was absolutely hilarious. The energy in the room was on point from start to finish. The food was another plus everything came out fast and tasted great, which is not always the case at comedy venues. Service was smooth and the staff kept everything moving without being disruptive. Definitely recommend checking this location out if you’re looking for a great night out.

Unfortunately, the Funny Bone in VB continues to decrease in customer value. The food and beverages are extremely overpriced and the speed of service is terrible whether it be drinks from the bar or food from the kitchen. Portions are very small and the food as a whole is just very disappointing overall. EXPECT THE SHOW TO START LATE. My best advice is to pick the early show as it will start close to scheduled time whereas the late show almost always starts more than 45 minutes later than advertised. They don’t allow anybody inside until the first show lets out and all tables are cleaned/cleared. Therefore, you can be standing outside waiting for a seat for 1.5 hours in the 30 or 95 degree weather. As far as the comedy is concerned, the quality is obviously different each week as comedians come and go. We have seen some extremely funny comics and also seen comics where we didn’t laugh the entire night. Seating is EXTREMELY tight and uncomfortable. Depending on where you’re seated, you will likely be rubbing elbows and backs with strangers. Extremely difficult to move between tables. Overall, compared to other comedy clubs and venues (in other areas), this has to be the worst location I have experienced. The Funny Bone in Richmond is operated way better.

Ive been living in Virginia for about 2 years and haven’t gotten service like this is a very long time. Very professional, The service was absolutely great, the staff was very friendly and kept checking to see if we were good. the drinks were great, not too sweet, not watered down. The show was well put together and very enjoyable. We got to play in the arcade for free afterwards. HOWEVER they moved and parking is a not hard to find but if its cold outside i would recommend goin early to get parking closer to the door. Also a perfect date night spot. 10/10 would definitely go again

The new building is great. Space for days. The room size reminds me of the one up in the Cincinnati area. Food still the same. Wings have no favor, french fries we're good, chicken tenders we're okay.

First time visitor at this location and I had a blast!!! Mojo Brooks was hilarious!!! The audience engagement was spectacular. His quick-wittedness and anecdotal humor made my sides hurt. I love how he tied in the audience's professions and responses throughout the entire set. He is by far my favorite social media born superstar!!! Would definitely come see him again. AND I got an added bonus to get a picture outside with R&B superstar, Vedo!!! Made me feel like Ice Cube..."Today was a good day!" ROFL!!!

Best Comedy Show Ever! We saw AMBER AUTRY! Surprised us with a Meet & Greet, & we won her signed shirt!! We had an incredible time! Great service for food and drinks by Funny Bone!

AWESOME!!! No doubt… Amber rocked and her show left no doubt she will hit the YouTube/ Netflix before the end of 2026… Give me a heads up when you’re in town next I will absolutely have you at my dinner table eating banging Italian dinner!!! Thank you for my best night out in years…. Very special for my daughter as well…. Long overdue. ❤️
