Venue 112

We went on a random Wednesday night so there weren’t that many people there (like 8ish????) but it was fun! The bartender was really nice and they allowed ppl to requests songs. I would caution that there’s a guy that seems to be friends with the DJ from last night (from what I remember a bit), he’s very sketchy and forced me into the male’s bathroom for a quick minute or three so I’d go again next time with a male friend and maybe some pepper spray lol The inside does look pretty small and there isn’t much but it’s honestly a vibe

Venue 112 has become an unsafe and dangerous spot in Virginia Beach. Saturday morning there was a shooting that left one person dead. Not long before that, at Central (right next door to Venue 112), another shooting happened that left a woman injured in her shoulder. What used to be one of the best nightlife areas for tourists has now been turned into a hood-style venue where violence overshadows the atmosphere. Central & venue used to be the place everyone went for a safe and enjoyable night out, but now it’s gone completely downhill. On top of that, I had my own experience at Venue 112 that showed just how careless and ineffective the security is. I was sitting there emailing my husband overseas , i set my phone down for a momentin in vip section , and a guy stole it and walked right out. I knew it was him, followed him, and even pointed him out to security. Security just stared at me and did absolutely nothing. They didn’t stop him, didn’t question him, didn’t even try. The fact that they allowed that to happen and would probably let that same person back in another day to keep stealing is insane. No wonder people feel like they can pull out a gun and shoot, because the truth is, the security isn’t doing their job and everyone knows it. Between violent incidents, thefts, and useless security, the parking lot and the venue itself are completely unsafe. If you’re visiting Virginia Beach and looking for nightlife, avoid Venue 112 and Central. Until serious changes are made, these places are not worth risking your safety.

Central 111 is a solid spot for a night out. The atmosphere is lively, the music keeps the energy up, and the drinks are well-made. Chris, in particular, is an outstanding bartender—friendly, fast, and knows how to make a great cocktail. He really adds to the experience, and honestly, I wish more bartenders were like him. The only downside is that the place can get a bit crowded, but that’s just a sign that people love it. Definitely worth checking out, especially if Chris is behind the bar!

Great food and drink specials nightly. Meghan is always a pleasure to see and chat with. $2 Tacos on Tuesdays and 1/2 Price Burgers on Fridays

I had sweet heat wings and the flavor explodes on every wing , the dessert was amazing the blend of flavors creates a tornado of joy with every bite
