BarrelHouse Brewing Visalia - Taproom and Beer Garden

As first comment: the people are very friendly and real there. No fake. They served me a lot of tasters and found out what my favorite beers are. A brewery is usually good if their lagers are good, so I ordered a lager and it was delicious, well balanced and easy drinkable. The atmosphere is rustic and underlines the beer menu. I liked the sour beers (try the Hibiscus sour) too and must say that I even was happy with their IPA selection.

We heard they have Bingo on Thursday night so my husband & I drove up from Lemoore. I don't think we will be returning. There was a bunch of little kids ....im talking 2-6 yrs old running around and Screaming at the top of their lungs. I was surprised that the staff just let them. I was waiting for one of them to fall and hurt themselves. The parents were just enjoying the beer and visiting. I had a screaming headache by the time we left. I know its a bar and it gets loud... but its a BAR, why would you bring your kid??

Love this place!! Awesome atmosphere!! Friendly bartenders! Upscale yet down to earth environment! Great beer! Several different types and flavors of beer! My favorite was "sunny days" ! Really comfortable place to be! The place is huge with lots of tables and a huge bar with the prices clearly displayed above the bar!! Sports on every tv not playing the same thing! Really good live music!! Over all awesome and i would recommend this place to everyone

Needs more sour beer options Update 2024: HOLLY DAZE is really good and I love the cinnamon stick added! I would still like more sour beer options tho! I also don’t think kids should be allowed! LOVE these fall decorations!

Ok, so this place doesn’t serve food but they have food trucks that come by so… guess that’s ok. The beer there is great, so many options! Nice open space there. I’ll definitely go back!!
