The atmosphere is like a sports bar. The food was good, the only thing was the pizza crust was a little dough, but was good. The doublestack burger, boss hog sandwich and fish and chips were all good. Multiple tvs for multiple games. The whiskey selection seems like a good amount and quality. The service was good. Would eat here again. Nice place for a sports bar.

Where to start? The slow service?... The terrible brisket?... I guess the lack of any sign of any meat smoker nearby should have sounded some alarm bell... We came in around mid afternoon. While the staff acknowledged us, it still took 10 minutes -in a mostly empty restaurant - for the bartender to come and check on us. She badly answered our questions about the menu, and didn't quite know all the items on the menu. In particular, details of the meats on offer should be a minimum skill. We ordered a swiss burger ("spot on" is a plus, right?), the brisket plate and the mixed plate (the latter is for large appetites, we were told, and that's fine as we planned on having leftovers). The burger does not come with any side - which is all fine, at that price point. The brisket plate was horrible. Never, ever, smoke a brisket with such amount of fat: instead of the expected sheen of a properly trimmed & slow-roasted brisket, we were treated to curly slices of greasy meats. We didn't plan to pay for fat, which should always be trimmed off, prior to roasting. The 3rd plate, mixed meats, had decent pulled pork but the same greasy brisket and dried up sausages - which ended up flavorless... the side of beans was acceptable, but that is a small consolation for a big disappointment. We don't expect to return, and are still on the lookout for a proper BBQ joint in the area.

Randomly looking through Google for food and found this place. It is a classy place that has a neighborhood tavern feel. They have a pool table. Food is A-MAZING! Chips are paper thin cut. Brisket is fatty and juicy. Onion soup is NOT salty tasting and flavourful. Tell Anglea & Maryland, Star and Mike said Hi! They are not open on Monday's but have specials and events during the week. We will be back this week.

Hidden gem at 12 and Hoover! Great service, extremely clean, food is very fresh with good selections, large portions at great price. Bread pudding was ! My only suggestion would be to have music playing. Occasional lions game on a Sunday is cool but need some tunes. Husband and I had a nice dinner Saturday night and look forward to coming back! ❤️

I was driving down the road and looked over to see many cars in front of this Rusty Rooster place....so i made a left turn and stopped to check it out... first of the bartenders were very nice i had enjoyed the chat..i the band (Dr. Smith) was great playing some classic rock . i was looking for something light to eat so i went with the chilli and i knew right away it was fresh., not out of a can i observed as other food came out and it was very appealing...so the next day i was having company for football so i got a large pork nacho loaded to add to the football snacks and they loved it ..the follwing tuesday i stopped and ordered the supreme XL pizza to take to the gym for a few of the employees (good people) and the raved about the Rusty Rooster Pizza ...i had a slice..and it was very good cheesey not to thick and a nice crunch on the crust.....TWO THUMBS UP!!

Got the city chicken. Could've been more tender but overall was still good. Mashed potatoes were real and very good. Corn bread was fantastic. Salad was fresh and crisp. Would come again. Clean place, nice environment. They have one pool table and one dart board.
