LongHorn Steakhouse
LongHorn Steakhouse in Yonkers offers a consistent dining experience with a menu that highlights classic American fare, including tender steaks and flavorful sides like mashed potatoes and spinach dip. The restaurant's strategic location within the Cross County Mall adds to its appeal, providing a convenient and accessible option for both casual and group dining. While the food quality remains a highlight, the service can be inconsistent, with some patrons reporting delays and oversight in their orders.
The ambiance, though spacious, can feel darker and less inviting due to limited natural light and occasional maintenance oversights. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and hearty portions continues to attract patrons. For those seeking a reliable steakhouse experience, LongHorn Steakhouse in Yonkers is a solid choice, with room for improvement in service and atmosphere.

LongHorn Steakhouse has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 3681 reviews on Google
I’ve stopped dining in because, honestly, when you’re by yourself the experience can be horrible depending on the server. So I decided to start doing pickup instead. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been much better. Every time I place a pickup order, there’s always some kind of issue. I walk in and there are what feels like 50 people in the back walking by, staring, and no one greets you while you’re standing there waiting forever. It’s frustrating. Then I get home and open my food — my sweet potato is burnt, the steak has a weird seasoning I’ve never tasted before, my drink has no straw, and I go to eat my bread… no butter. Like please, make it make sense. I keep giving them chance after chance because I really do love some LongHorn Steakhouse, but at this point I may have to take my money somewhere else. Consistency and basic customer service matter. If you’d like, I can also make a shorter version for Google or a slightly softer one in case you want to leave room for management to fix it.
The food is very good and consistent. I’ve gotten the NY strip as well as the Flo filet. The mashed potatoes are great and the spinach dip! The staff is very kind. Dwayne was awesome.
I have been to this location on several occasions and never have I experienced such dissatisfaction. The waitress name was Kimberly? unfortunately acting like she did not even want to be at work. Her section this day was right behind the host stand. I am a manager in the service industry, with that said you never know who you are serving. I always tip good because it is the right thing to do, a nasty attitude and carelessness all around would change that for anyone. No bread was bought to the table, appetizer was cold. I asked for a water after I ordered a 15$ drink, I never received the water. No check up on the table. The worst experience. The server kept walking by the table empty handed. No pre bussing took place, In and out the kitchen empty. The rush died down and still horrible service. No smile. The table we were sat at was dirty. The food was out in wrong. I asked for a salad I never got. I will not be returning thanks to Kimberly.
One of the best restaurants in America, the food is very delicious, it is clear that the chefs have long experience in the kitchen, also the restaurant's interior is wonderful and has seating that suits all visitors, whether it is one person or a large group, its location is also excellent as it is located in the Cross County Mall, its prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants I have visited in Manhattan and Brooklyn
My husband and I went for lunch with the kids, and we enjoyed ourselves. The place was quiet, and it wasn't overcrowded. Which is how we like it. The food was delicious, except the mac n cheese. The waitress we had was very busy because she was assigned to take out orders. So we were unfortunately neglected a lot. But I would definitely go back. It's my first time having poor service, so I won't give a poor ratings. But I get, she was busy, so I think they should have one waiter assigned to take out only.
The service is quite slow. We visited after 8pm, was seated within 5 minutes. But one seated out took long for the waiter to check in with is. The food took about 30 minutes. Presentation of the food was so poor. Looks like they just threw the broccoli on the plate
The good: the bread was warm & the butter was sweet and creamy. The bad: ambience was unpleasant; there are few windows so the dining area is dark regardless the time of day; it feels like eating at a casino. The rugs were dirty (see photo) and there were cobwebs (see photo) near the lights. Service was poor; our server checked in once as our meal arrived and never came back. I tried to get his attention to address my entree but he seemed to actively ignore us. My son practically had to tackle him to get the check. Cuisine was arguably worse than above (besides the bread). My son's steak was cooked well and evenly; he enjoyed his meal. My steak was cooked unevenly and the photo is my "well done" steak. I left hungry. If you're going to spend your hard earned money on a steak dinner with family, a clean, friendly, and consistent experience is what you want. I would seek it elsewhere.
