Lion's Lair

Went with my foster son for his birthday on twisted Thursday. My fjrst ever drag show!! 1 absolutely loved it!! So many absolutely stunning kings and phenomenal queens!! And the bar tender made me the best Scooby Snack cocktail since 2003, when i had one on my 30th birthday.

Ordered the Master Splinter with Mac and cheese bites... This was my first time trying this place. I must say, I was NOT disappointed! My new favorite!

Caught a solid DJ set on a random Wednesday. Great sound and light system especially considering it’s not that large of a location. Staff was friendly and the bar is clean.

On the 8th Annual BoozeRun 2018, stopped in to collect our Pin at the Lion's Lair, 9th stop of 9. Smaller Bar, smaller crowd, had a DJ tonight, pool table, darts, and a Touch Tunes Juke Box. Seems to be a place where regulars gather with room for about 85 on two different floor levels. Pool table is in the back on the second floor for a little more privacy and less interruption while playing a game or two...

Super cozy vibes! I say that because it is quite small, my only drawback. However, with that being said, the atmosphere makes up for it plenty! The drag performance is on point, very inclusive and high energy! I have only been once, tonight, but as someone who is skeptical of visiting other bars than my home bar, this place is a welcome change for sure. Drinks are yummy, but be warned this is one of those bars that will give you a trashcan without the rest of the red bull, much like the knitting factory. Not a problem, as it's less to carry, but I know people out there have their preferences. I haven't tried their food yet, but I'll be sure to come back and sample some goodies! Make sure to order a sweet tart while you're here, they're super yummy!!

Went in after a 10 hour shift in the sun, I was NOT disappointed. The atmosphere, the staff, the food... Everything was wonderful. EXACTLY what was needed to wind down and cool off. I had the burger/sausage combo (Das Drip) and was blown away. I seriously considered actually licking the plate clean. Would strongly recommend!

We ordered from here off Uber Eats. It said 10-20 minutes for delivery. That turned into an hour. It kept saying preparing order.. The driver delivered within 5 minutes which was fine. We ordered 2 burgers and fries. It was mostly bun and did not taste good at all! The food arrived very cold as well. We took 2 bites and were done. Will never order from here again. Complete waste of 40$.
