Cocktail Magique Bar & Theatre by Company XIV

I really enjoyed the magical environment where this show took place. It was so cozy & cute inside and really felt like you were transported into a different world. We had front row seats to the Cocktail Magique show and I kind of wish we sprung for the back table seats. The way the seats were set up, we had to look up and it felt as if the people towards the back had a better view even though we were closer. The stage lights for the performers were shinning so bright and all the haze/fog made it difficult to see clearly from the angle I was sitting at. One of the bartenders at the front when we purchased drinks at the beginning didn’t seem too friendly. Also, the show was advertised at 2 hours long and ours started around 8:12 PM and finished at 9:42. I was only disappointed because I was enjoying it and wish it was longer! All in all, it’s a really cool concept in an intimate venue which I loved. I would absolutely come back to see the Queen of Hearts and Nutcracker shows!

The show is lackluster, it’s nothing special in comparison to other high-end burlesque/magic shows. Also, don’t get the standing room seats - it’s TERRIBLE VIEWING. You barely can see the show, the actors themselves are blocking the view. It’s such a terrible setup it shouldn’t even be sold for $60. They make you feel like a second-class guest as you have a terrible view so you miss 90% of the show, they don’t provide a drink upon entering as their description mentioned, they gave out a drink at the end but we got it as everyone had already walked out. A random man walked in and asked to order a drink and he sat right next to us and didn’t pay the $60 price + drinks. We paid $60 each for some terrible seats, no immersive experience, no drink upon entering and received one after everyone left. Majority of the time we’re breaking our necks trying to see and look over people’s head. I even emailed their reservations team to see if I could upgrade the tickets and never heard back. Overall a poor experience, save your $60 and spend it on alllll the other similar priced shows/experiences in NYC.

This experience was INCREDIBLE!!!! Company XIV is a phenomenal company and "Cocktail Magique" is a show not to be missed. It’s great for a date night, girls or guys night out, group gatherings, or basically any occasion. Definitely ADULT performances and humor. The cocktails are all handcrafted and made specifically for the show. They are all served in themed glassware and they have something for everyone. The theatre is a small theatre in Brooklyn but it is set up from head to toe to give you a full blown experience. The cast is incredible! Just incredible. They are all extremely talented and also double as your servers. There is a hilarious host and the show is fully interactive. There is everything you can think of from dancing, comedy, aerial, juggling, and speciality acts. There is also a special "magic" surprise at the end of the show as well. 1000% recommend and will definitely be attending some of their other future performances!

This was such a fun time! Great performance and interactions. Didn’t like drink selections but you can’t win them all. Neighborhood has no parking and a little sketchy but didn’t feel unsafe.

Couldn’t get enough. Loved every moment from the lipstick readings to the unique acts..the thoughtful design of the theater to the detail of the furniture catered to the show experience. One of the coolest avant-garde intimate variety shows I have seen anywhere in the world, and I am a show fanatic. Left smiley, laughy, the perfect amount of boozey, and oh so inspired. 10/10

Have been here a few times so this is my experience: initially the show was worth it, full experience and lovely performances. Now that they have incorporated the standing rooms they do not offer the same experience just FYI ( it’s a very crucial part of the show and the standing hallway doesn’t offer it) so the "magique" isn’t all there. The performers are outstanding and it should be enjoyed properly. The curtains are wide open so the light from the outside + partial viewing has caused a decline on the quality of the show. I understand if they want to include more seating since it a popular show but I don’t think it was worth the change. The photo is the POV from the middle seat in the hallway.

Super fun performance. The entire crew was amazing and entertaining. The performance was engaging and interactive. I’d go back to see another show there!
