Becks' Martial Arts

Becks’ Martial Arts is a great school. We have been with Becks’ for about 4 years now. Our daughter started as a student in their tigers class for kids younger than 7 and just earned her red belt as an advanced junior student. Becks’ not only teaches the art of Taekwondo but they incorporate self-discipline, perseverance and confidence along with many other life long valuable self-traits and lessons into their classes. They have very reasonable hours for their regular classes which is great for both Poudre and Thompson Valley School Districts. They offer additional classes for combat sparring, weapons and fun family classes during the week. For the older kiddos they also have a demo team and leadership classes. We hands down recommend Becks’ Martial Arts for any age!

We have been with Becks for 3 years. Our youngest started off as a tiger who loved all the fun games the instructors incorporated. Our older son is now a recommended black belt in the Leadership who is excited to become an Instructor one day. As a homeschooling family we wanted to find another outlet to help our older son with self discipline while giving them physical fitness goals. After 6 months at BMA our oldest was able to transition away from his weekly counseling because his self regulation had soared.

Our son loves Beck’s for his Tae Kwan Doe. Master Beck and Mrs Beck and everyone they work with are so patient and passionate about TKD. Our son has learned so much and TKD has helped him with focusing on tasks.

A few years ago I moved to Fort Collins for grad school and I was looking for a place to continue my martial arts journey. I had recently completed my 1st degree black belt at my old school and was looking for the right school. I tried some other schools, but I liked the Beck's the most because of their fun environment, upbeat and active classes that make you feel like you both learn new martial arts skills and get a work out. They have so many opportunities for both children and adults to grow as martial artists, from testings, to competitions, and an amazing leadership program.

We moved to town mid-pandemic and set out looking for a taekwondo program to get our son involved with. We feel so lucky to have found Becks. We’ve seen him struggle with confidence and anxiety, more so since Covid, and Becks Martial Arts truly helps him develop his mental strength just as much as physical skills. They’ve been very thoughtful to create a safe environment for young students who aren’t yet eligible for the vaccine and as a healthcare provider and parent this is the type of attention to detail that makes a huge difference for our family. We’re glad to be part of the family here and look forward to get our younger son involved soon too.

I highly recommend Becks! Mr and Mrs Beck are truly amazing at working with every kid and have created a wonderful place to train in taekwondo. Our kids had no martial arts experience before starting with the Becks. Because of their dedicated coaching, our kids have grown incredibly in their confidence, character, and athleticism over the past 2 years they’ve trained with the Becks. Plus, Mr and Mrs Beck are just great people. They’ve cultivated a community between the students and families that attend Becks. We love going here!

My granddaughter LOVES going to Beck’s Taekwondo. All the students are very friendly and she looks forward to seeing those friends as often as possible. I am amazed at how much her balance and flexibility have improved. Her confidence has improved and she has learned to take pride in what she does and to always try her best. They have fantastic teachers who are great at teaching respect and discipline while making it fun for everyone. They also provide FUN FUN FUN birthday parties and it has become a tradition for her to always have her birthday party there because Mr.Beck keeps all the kids engaged in fun games for the length of the party and he cuts the cake with a very long sword!
