Fort Wayne Sports and Social Club

Great way to meet new friends in Fort Wayne for people who just moved here or have been in Fort Wayne for years. It's also a fun way to stay active and try out new sports, you don't need to have prior experience playing them. It also introduced me to new local places and enhanced my Fort Wayne navigation skills. I joined 3 years ago and now have a great friend group outside of work and a husband I met through the league. Adults of different professions from all over join, I highly recommend for newbies of the Fort!

I was looking for more friends, after having moved to Fort Wayne for grad school, when I joined FWSSC roughly 4 years ago. In that time I have gained improved athletic ability, numerous friends, and even a fiance, all through this club. I'm still coming season after season, and I recommend it to everyone I know. It is a great way to meet people and you don't even have to be an athlete!

Fort Wayne Sports and Social Club is how I met most of my friends after moving to Fort Wayne 4 years ago. All of the staff and players have been so welcoming, I still play every session I can! You can join any sport with a small or large group, or you can sign on as a free agent like I did and be assigned to an already existing team. If you are considering joining FWSSC, do it!

The best thing in Fort Wayne if you like to stay active and meet new people! I have so much fun. Great sports and fun people. I meet someone new every week. The owner is a great guy. He loves to get feedback about current sports and sports to add. I am terrible about trying something new alone - I like to have a buddy - but this is absolutely something you can do if you don't have that option 🙂 I'm so thankful I found FWSSC!

This is an awesome club with several sports to choose between filled with great people. The guys who run the show are also awesome! Friends and I have played through FWSSC for years now and played soccer, kickball, softball and volleyball. Definitely a recreational league to have fun but can still be competitive from time to time which is a great balance. Get your friends together and join a sport!

FWSSC was the first thing I joined when I moved to Fort Wayne and knew no one. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to make some friends because everyone is there for the same reasons, so you really can't be an outsider! After a year and a half, I can confidently say that this group has made me feel comfortable, connected, and dare I say "at home" in a city that used to be foreign to me. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!

A great opportunity to stay active while meeting new people. New friends, romance, and professional networking are all on the table. The league is well organized and offers a wide variety of sports for everyone. Each sport is competitive, but not overly which welcomes all athletic abilities. The only regret I have about the league is not signing up sooner!
