As a first time visitor but long time dancer, this place was so-so. I loved the atmosphere/decor, but the bathrooms were filthy and almost all of the stall doors didn't work. There are no rules on the floor, so drinks were allowed on the floor (not a safe practice for dancers) and people standing on the floor, which limits dance space. The instructor was good though and the music fun, and I met a couple of nice people.

Initially had a great time, but the experience went downhill when a fight broke out and my friend was asked to leave despite not being involved at all. The drinks were good overall. One downside was that the barista was openly flirting with my husband while I was standing right there. I assume it may have been an attempt to earn better tips, so I didn’t take it too personally, but it was still uncomfortable. Be mindful of the dress code, as it appears to be enforced more strictly for men. I saw someone turned away for wearing ripped jeans, and T-shirts are not allowed. Women, on the other hand, seem to have much more flexibility and can wear anything from casual outfits to full party attire.

If you like country music, line dancing and meeting lots of people, this should be your Friday night go-to. Only a $5 cover charge to get in – and the drinks are pretty affordable. $3 for beer and bottled water, little more for cocktails depending on what you get. Line dancing lessons run from 7:30-8:30 p.m., which I highly suggest for all skill levels. Clay and Faye (I hope I spelled her name right) typically run these lessons – and they don't start songs until you're comfortable with the dances. DJ Snow and DJ Bobby Hash do a great job with mixing up tunes throughout the night. I hear mainly country until about 9:30 p.m., then other popular dance songs start getting mixed in. Pete's is a great place to go with your friends, but also as a solo dancer. Most people I encounter are friendly – and will even give you tips on how to improve your dancing skills.

i didn’t eat while i was here, so i can’t review it based on food or service. i’m a sucker for a good theme & i love the western theme. the decor was really cuteee. this was my second club experience & limelight was my first & i did not enjoy limelight at all. but i like pete’s because the music was actually stuff i listen to & the dj knew what to play. people say if you don’t go to the club drunk or high you’ll have an awful time—but i really think it depends on the music , because i am a sober queen & i danced the night away at pete’s. only thing i would say, was that smoke or fog they blow when the beat drops? almost killed me 💀, i have asthma & wasn’t expecting it & i stood DIRECTLY. under it. i didn’t ride the bull this time but next time im on that!

Only open on fridays, line dancing until around 11 or 12. Then the floor opens up to everyone to dance how they want! $5 cover fee but so worth it

Whoever yall hired for security with the shirt dreads stupid as hell. Actually screw that dude. Grabbed me by my shirt and threw me out for wearing sunglasses with no warning. He’s only mad because he got punched in the face but what would you do if you got snatched up in a room full of crowded people?

The best parts about this club is the size, they have great parking and a fairly large bar with places to sit that aren’t VIP/private. The bad part is that the people that frequent are not friendly. I went here maybe two years ago and it was pretty fun. The dj played a lot of country music to start, but at a certain point they switched it up. I didn’t have any issues dancing my own way and having a good time. Unfortunately now they only play music you can square/line dance to. The whole night the entire dance floor was just sped up or slowed down square/line dancing. When my girls and I started dancing our own way we soon noticed MORE people started square/line dancing. There was no mistaking that some were purposely bumping into us and stepping on our toes to push us off the dance floor. I would think if there was a person that doesn’t know the moves, but wants to dance that there would be at least one individual kind/cool/decent enough to show them the moves:/ Lack of diversity is something I am used to living in the south, but to be made to feel like I was completely unwanted was not something I was prepared for at a club. This place has a lot of potential to be super fun. So for that reason alone I’ll consider going back with my boots:) I’m optimistic that people are not that hatful, especially in an environment where fun is meant to happen!
