Well, it was a wonderful night. It’s totally different from the current NY: it’s more friendly, opened, crazy and fun. I liked. Girls are hot, gay scene is super fun and men and boys are polite. Security is polite, bartenders are smiling and hostess are nice. Even the coat check room is fun. Pay a visit. You will find much more then college group friends afraid from what people will think about them. Nobody cares. Lots of personages and allegories. Super fun and crazy. PS: sorry about my Brazilian translation
The party was amazing. I really enjoyed the music and the atmosphere during my visit. However, I don’t know why the charged different prices for the same alcoholic drinks in the same place. In the upper level 1 corona and 1 Gin Tonic was $27.63 gratuity included. In the basement the same 2 drinks was $39.37.
It’s definitely a good time if you’re having a birthday or want to try something new. Best smelling club ever😂 Incense in the bathrooms. It’s gets weird here and there’s a show that keeps you entertained the whole night. So weird so it’s a lot of fun if you’re into that. Music was great all night. Dancers everywhere. I will definitely be back!! Only showing videos of things I could post online here … the weirder stuff you have to come and see for yourself
Now this is what you want in a nightclub - character, variety and just good vibes all around. There are three floors - a basement house music floor, the main performance floor and an upper activity floor (with karaoke, blackjack etc). The service team are very friendly and hospitable, and while prices are on the much higher end, you’re getting an unmatched entertainment experience. Definitely worth considering table service if you’re coming in groups.
Best club to open in Manhattan in atleast 20 years. so much thought went into this quirky large multi room insanely themed every inch. the staff is amazing. the performers and floor team amazing. security staff bartenders lights all tip top.
Love this venue! There’s no shortage of things to entertain you with multiple floors to explore, crazy decor on every surface and live performance artists of every sort roaming around. It’s like house of yes but with way more space which makes it a way better experience. Incredibly nice staff as well from the front door hostess to the bar staff. So rare to have an overwhelmingly positive club experience in the middle of Manhattan!
Tucked away on West 57th Street in Manhattan, The Stranger is more than just a bar—it’s a descent into the surreal, a place where the ordinary dissolves into the extraordinary. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped by an ambiance that feels like a fever dream conjured by David Lynch and Salvador Dalí over a shared bottle of absinthe. The entrance is unassuming, but crossing the threshold is akin to stepping through the looking glass. Dimly lit corridors lead you into a labyrinth of rooms, each more enigmatic than the last. Velvet drapes, antique chandeliers, and eclectic art pieces create an atmosphere that’s both opulent and otherworldly. It’s as if the space itself is alive, whispering secrets from its shadowed corners. The cocktails here are alchemical concoctions, each presented with a theatrical flair that borders on the ceremonial. Bartenders, dressed in attire that blurs the line between the vintage and the avant-garde, craft drinks that are as much about the experience as they are about the taste. Sipping on one feels like participating in a ritual, each flavor unfolding like a chapter in a gothic novel. But The Stranger isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about evoking emotion. The music, an eclectic mix that defies genre, sets a tone that’s both haunting and exhilarating. Patrons, adorned in attire ranging from the elegantly classic to the flamboyantly bizarre, add to the venue’s dreamlike quality. Conversations here aren’t mere exchanges—they’re performances, each participant playing their part in this grand, nocturnal theater. In a city that prides itself on reinvention, The Stranger stands out by embracing the enigmatic. It’s not just a bar; it’s an experience, a journey into the depths of imagination and desire. For those willing to surrender to its spell, it offers a night that lingers long after the final drink is poured.
