Provo City Library at Academy Square

Oh yeah im lovin the old styile look it has up stairs. The bathrooms are very clean upstairs, the doors are freakin huge and the tile work is looking good lol. Everything just looks better upstairs on the other side

The Provo City Library is amazing! They have plenty of community events, friendly staff, and obviously resources/books. The building itself is lovely. They offer book club sets that can be checked out, often get new books when requested, and always seem very happy to help. This is one of the best public libraries I've been to. It's very easy to check out and you never have to wait for long. There is usually parking available. Can't recommend it enough!

The Provo City Library is one of the nicest public libraries I’ve been to. I’ve spent time here reading, studying, and just walking around, and it always feels welcoming and well maintained. The building itself is beautiful, and the layout makes it easy to find quiet corners or more open spaces. I really like how much natural light there is throughout the building. It’s a great place to focus without feeling stuffy or cramped. The outdoor areas are also a nice bonus. It’s a great community space that’s easy to appreciate even if you’re not there to check out books.

This library is fantastic. All staff have been great. The emailed newsletters, free events and park visits are so fun. They have amazing sound and video equipment for check out plus telescopes, board games and many other cool hobby kits. We’re lucky to live relatively close! Thank you for all you do for our community. ♥️

I absolutely adore this building! Not only is it a fantastic library, with a knowledgeable and helpful staff, the architecture incredible and I’ve used it for a variety of photo shoots from professional to even our wedding photos! Because of the additions to the building, there is a variety of backgrounds and different styles of architecture to enjoy. There is a lovely scheduled of events in the loft, parties in the ballroom, and art classes! I definitely recommend it, at least for a visit.

Probably one of the better libraries I’ve found. This library is built in an updated historical building. They have done a great job adding the new glass interior spaces and underground parking. It has several levels, giving it plenty of room for everyone to use. Computers are available for use. Printers, and even a section that sells used books. If you are interested in the history of the building as well as the many other activities that are happening, you can check with the front desk or the flatscreen information hubs.

Library itself was very nice very clean. Employees were great!! Needed a computer, got right in, and right onto a unit. Young kids in there got kinda loud for a library. Little disturbing.
