Big Timber Axe Throwing and Bar

The best hidden gem in Rockford. Since they moved downtown, I’ve been going every weekend! FREE POOL ON WEDNESDAYS!!! Board games, axe throwing, great music, & delicious drinks. Plus pizza, cool bartenders, & it’s so spacious where nobody is on top of you at the bar. The atmosphere is very inviting & I love the staff. Wish more people knew about Big Timber because it’s one of the best bars in Rockford.

The bar is well stocked (my bartenders went above and beyond and made a special shot i love and got in a bottle of alcohol fkr my specific drink) and as a great staff. Being from out of town but visit a lot. This is my go to bar. The axe throwing is fun too.

We visited Big Timber yesterday and had a great time! My girlfriend had been to their original location before and was so impressed by the new location! I was a complete beginner, and Kenny was so nice and helpful showing us the ropes. The bartender was also great, and I especially enjoyed this Urban Forest IPA. We played a bunch of games and had so much fun - we will definitely be back soon!

My daughter wanted to try axe throwing tonight. This was her first time and she really enjoyed it. This was her first Bullseye 🎯! Service was great! The host kept making sure we were doing well, had any questions, or needed anything. Thanks for the great evening!

Such a fun place to meet up with friends and have an activity. Nice large bar area with a pool table. Good drink selection (including NA drinks!)

Tito the bartender was great! Dave helped out when they got too busy and cocktails were great, some board games to chill out with or dive deeper with some axe throwing…while drinking! Also there’s a cat in the window next door you can window pet! 🥹

One of my favorite places to go for a drink. You owe it to yourself to check this place out. Great signature cocktails, domestics, and my favorite part is the selection of local craft brews! Bring a snack or order food in. Amazing staff, beautiful space. Go check it out.
