New York Comedy Club - Stamford

We attended New York Comedy Club-Stamford for the first time last night to see Michael Blaustein. We had the best time. This venue is a great place to see a comedy show. Small and intimate. Not a bad seat in the house. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. The venue was clean and we felt safe. We will definitely be back.

Sam Morril was fantastic, crowd and energy was great. Comedy club smaller than I expected, no food only over priced popcorn and sour patch kids. Drinks were terrible and you’d only have time to get two rounds because of service. I was in GA seating and was seated close but just in a normal chair and didn’t look like premium seating was much better. Auto gratuity 18% and then they ask you to tip on top so be careful. Was also charged for two popcorns when I ordered one. $57 for two drinks and a popcorn after tip tax and overcharge. ($20 minimum for each guest and most drinks are only $16)

It’s always a great time at New York Comedy Club Stamford. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, and the comics consistently make the experience fun and engaging. I usually pair it with dinner at a nearby restaurant, which makes it perfect for a date night or a fun catch-up with friends. The prices are reasonable, and the overall atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. Highly recommend seeing a show here—comedy is always better live.

There’s always something a little adventurous about a night at the New York Comedy Club in Stamford. I’ve seen a mix of both big-name comedians and relatively unknown comics take the stage there, and somehow every single visit manages to turn into a fantastic night out. The room has that perfect comedy club energy - intimate, lively, and just unpredictable enough that you never quite know what kind of brilliance might walk onto the stage next. Some nights you’re watching someone you’ve seen on TV, other nights you’re discovering a comic you’ve never heard of who absolutely steals the show. Either way, the result is the same: lots of laughter, a great crowd, and one of those easy, genuinely fun evenings that remind you why live comedy is still one of the best nights out you can have. Stamford is lucky to have this place.

We alway enjoy our time at NY Comedy club. It’s so great to have a comedy club in Stamford and gives us another great local activity for a fun night out with friends and family. For the most part, we enjoy the comedians who are featured at the club. The staff is friendly and professional and constantly available when we have questions or concerns. I wish there were more snacks offered on the menu considering that there is a minimum charge, but I also recognize that they are only providing entertainment and not aiming for a bar or restaurant experience. I definitely would go back and sit in the front row so we can get roasted by the comedian!!!

First time patrons at New York Comedy Club in Stamford and we had a great time. The comics were different from each other and that was great. Laughter truly is the best medicine after a long week!
