Massage Envy

I received a gift certificate for Christmas and today I decided to use it and honestly wish I hadn’t. I booked my appointment for 1:00pm, I arrived early and didn’t get brought back until 15 after okay no big deal. I filled out the form asking questions about areas I would like them to focus on and I stated more on my shoulders and lower back. Also when I booked my appointment I had put that I wanted a light level of massage more for relaxing. Well it was very hard to relax and enjoy my massage when they were so rough. Devonta was my massage therapist, and I swear he put so much pressure onto my back I felt like my shoulder blades were going to cave in. My back is hurting so much right now I’m in more pain now than before I received my massage. Then I was told to turn over and he was pushing so hard onto my chest and felt very uncomfortable. Then he worked on my arms and again just pushing so hard into my skin. I paid an additional $15 to have my feet massaged and honestly that was the ONLY ENJOYABLE PART OF MY ENTIRE MASSAGE THAT COST $160. Didn’t even massage my legs. I will never go back to this establishment ever again. What a waste of money. When leaving and going to pay the receptionist asked how it was told her I didn’t enjoy it and that he was very rough. Didn’t acknowledge or sympathize took my money and told me to have a good day. Ever since I got home I’ve been on a heating pad and taking Tylenol and couldn’t even enjoy a hot bath. Do not recommend to anyone

Devonta is a miracle worker! My absolute go to for relaxation! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anyone here. I’ve had 3-4 different massage therapists and I have no complaints, but it’s Devonta for me!

I have been here twice so far and each time was a positive experience! My most recent therapist was Dajah. She was very attentive and provided a perfect relaxing massage. I will definitely be back to see her!

Excellent service, easy booking and relaxing environment. Bottom line is, Morgan has magic hands. Amazing massage, actually the best I ever had and I have had nothing but great massages here. But Morgan is exceptional. Also had a facial with Natural and again, it was amazing. Both had me in La-La-Land, in Cloud 9

Awful massage. I booked a medium pressure massage but instead the masseuse sat down and used one hand to wipe oil up and down my back for 45 min. When I asked for more pressure she said "sure", pressed a little harder with the one hand 2-3 times, then went back to wiping oil instead of massaging.

Absolute BOTTOM OF THE BARREL employees and therapists. Massage Envy has become a TERRIBLE establishment (as someone who had a membership years ago). I normally go to Destress Express now, but my husband didn’t know any better and sweetly booked me an appointment for a massage "just because". I show up at 12:50 for a 1:00 appointment and I get checked in. 1:15pm rolls around and I’ve not been called back (someone else was though). I poke my head out to the front and ask for an update/to be sure they checked me in? She says the therapist is running late. I ask til when? She says she’s in a session. Again, I ask "til when?" I do have other appointments today and need to plan accordingly. At this point, the therapist "Staee" with a terrible attitude says behind me "I’m here if you want to start…." (Which, come to think of it: not a SINGLE PERSON walked out of that place from an appt in the 25 minutes I was sitting there, so what was she actually doing to where she didn’t address her client on time? Probably why they were so evasive as to how long she’d be "in another appt") I go to walk back with her and she rolls her eyes, raises her eyebrows, sucks her teeth as she turns around and tries to start her "I’m Staee I’ll be your therapist" introduction and I immediately say no way. Absolutely not is this going to be my relaxing massage experience and letting this person work on my bare body with this attitude and obvious frustration with her life. What is wrong with people?? So I walk to the front and demand a refund and they say I haven’t been charged - I confirm they’re not going to charge some cancellation fee as soon as I walk out and she says no. Do NOT go to massage envy! They are rude, unprofessional, lazy employees.

Shannon was recommended by a dear friend and am very glad I booked with her. Attentive to my personal needs, enjoys conversation, I'm unable to stay quiet very long. Looking forward to seeing her each month.
