Meteor

This was a great location with easy parking and a fun crowd and cool staff. Loved the environment and they had Dr. Pepper, something you might not find at just any bar. Great music to dance to but didn’t get great vibes from the go go boys, but never pay much attention to them anyway.

Loyal patron of the bar-- and loved it in its prime. However, they began charging $1.75 and up for tap water. The Mc of their drag show is typically a hateful, ill-painted and (frankly) intimidating, plus-sized drag queen named Kofi. She brings some loyal patrons to tears, and others like myself to other bars (where the real talent resides) Bartenders are cute and decent by standard but the management here went from good to bad, then Bad to Worst. They apparently don't pay these tireless bartenders their due and violate a great number of ethical clauses. Only giving one star because of the management, the bartenders themselves get a four-star for their perseverance through unbearable working conditions.

Ohhh The Dancers... lol. This is a clean, fun bar that gets packed on the weekends and a great place to check out the eye candy! The bartenders pour better here than most of the bars I've been to, so you get the alcohol that you pay for. The shows of the go-go dancers are entertaining and sometimes they are jaw dropping. There's never been a cover whenever I've gone and I always have a great time,

Really nice place. Have different events. Bartenders are okay and it draws a different crowd compared to South Beach and JR's in my opinion. Definitely check it out. You'll have a good time.

As Houston visitor I find that Meteor is nice social place to mingle. The male dancers are very sexy but not destracting from the social scene. Very diverse crowd of people, friendly, and the drinks are good.

Horrible. Went in tonight, No music, Dead bar. I asked for well drinks and got charged $24 for 4 drinks after I asked for well. Do not start a tab. Pay cash always. They will rip you off here. I will never be back to this place again.

The place is so nice , great music but they have just 1 bartender for the whole place and he took forever to gave me a beer .
