Monterrey Bar

I’ve come to the Monterrey Bar a few times now and really feel like it’s the perfect hidden gem in Miami. The bites are solid and the cocktails even better. The ambiance and whoever is providing the entertainment is great. From DJ’s using records to a solo vocalist, it’s the cherry on top of this quaint bar. I appreciate the intimacy and like that it attracts patrons that can be more swanky or casual.

Best hidden gem in Miami! I went on a Sunday evening. It was quiet, which maybe isn’t great for this wonderful speakeasy, but suited me just fine. Lovely staff, great selection of cocktails, and tasty "bites". Highly recommend this cocktail bar!

Chic, intimate bar. Unfortunately, new management has removed the activations (regular live music + tarot readings) that made this place special. The new food menu is also terrible - need to bring back the old staples (cheesy tater tots are a perfect bar snack, and they did it in a really elevated way). And the cocktail program has deteriorated considerably. Drinks feel very "orange juice forward" so to speak and lack complexity in how they’re now being prepared. Hopefully they’re able to bring it all back as this place was a unique gem in the area.

Can confirm tarot is back, DJs on weekends and no OJ in the cocktails.

A hideaway from the hideaway Hand down the best Vesper martini I’ve ever had and if you want an intimate date spot, go on a Sunday night. It only seats 12 or so people. Super cool spot!

Went for Martini Monday lounge show with Kimona. A blast from the past for me. Very cozy atmosphere. Ashley our bartender was a delight and served delicious martinis. Highly recommend to go to the show

Great lowkey intimate bar setting with undertones of a speakeasy vibe. The bar is designed in a really cool manner, its small but you can sit across from people so you don't feel boxed in or facing a wall. Service was efficient and on point, my server (Ken) was knowledgeable about all the drinks and had a great attitude - really made me feel welcome! The bar tender (Brett) also highly skilled and personally came over to deliver the drink - the place was not too busy granted but that was a really nice gesture. I tried the Le Lido which was very refreshing. It's a small space but very well designed and coupled with the great service and concoctions it's a must visit. Highly recommend it!!
