Point Bar

Nice little local bar. I came in here a couple of weeks ago and had a good experience. The Friday night in which I visited, well drinks were just $2.25. You just can't beat that. They also had root beer, which was a plus for me. The place is also very clean and modern for being a small little neighborhood bar. If you get bored, you can watch sports or shoot some pool. Another cool thing about this bar is that the building itself is shaped like a point. I found that to be amusing. Overall, it was a pretty nice local bar that was clean and modern. The cheap drinks however, are what would make me return to this place.

2 nice Diamond pool tables renovated inside pretty small layout. I think they do air fried foods. Nice staff.

As a long time pateon to many of Grand Rapids establishments, i can say that the Point Bar has always been a favorite little hidden gem. I have not been to Point Bar for 3 years. The service i received recently was just what everyone wants Rick was very friendly and knowledgeable, he answered many people's questions about the city and the area while never slowing down the fast and friendly service. Ricks vibe set the mood of the place, soreading cheer and brotherhood to all. U would strongly recommend Point Bar to anyone looking for the hole in the wall gem. They have basic bar food, done well ; as well as oool tables and jukebox. Point Bar.... Thank you for being you and kudos to Rick, a great representative for the city and the establishment.

Went with my friends on 7/2. Was having a pretty decent time until one of the patrons kept coming up to my friend and touching her on the back and arm. He then licked his finger and touched her. As we were leaving, the bartender apologized saying they were sorry and that he was a regular and "harmless" and does this all of the time. We will definitely not be coming back here if this is how regulars are allowed to treat people.

Katie was an awesome bartender! Found this place on google maps and didn’t expect much, but had an awesome experience. Will definitely return. Diamond in the rough.

Was OK. Small place, not much room. They did let my friends throw a benefit for a mutual friend that passed, so that was cool. Descent drinks and prices.

I came here for New Year's. It was fun. I've only been here 1 other time so far but it was fun that time too. They had karaoke and the people were having a great time. the drinks are good and they are cheap. I plan to come here again. it's small but it's cool and they have food.
