R Place Bar and Eatery in Hillcrest is THE spot to cheer on the Seattle Seahawks in SD. Our group is quite large, and every time we make a reservation, the team delivers outstanding service. Everyone from the owners/managers, bartender, bar backs, runners, and bussers is friendly and on point. Food and drinks are great and on time, even when the place is packed. For an electric atmosphere and exceptional value, you would be hard-pressed to find a better bar to watch a game.
This is such a fun place! We were visiting from Seattle and found this bar while out touring. The owner, staff, food and drinks were all on point! It was a great place to cheer our Seahawks on, get lunch and have a solid drink! Highly recommend!
New to the area and checked out R Place, such a solid spot! First person we met was Hallo (like Hallow) super chill and welcoming. She showed us where to order and even offered to take our picture. Loved the energy right away. Now the drinks... whew! Tito's vodka was strong and done right. We also ordered an appetizers, great portions and full of flavor. At first, we sat up front by the entrance/street, but here's a tip: walk all the way to the back. It's massive back there, long bar, more tables, and a really beautiful setup. Totally didn't expect that. If you appreciate privacy this is it. Shoutout to Hallo for the amazing welcome, and to the short king with the dark beard behind the bar your drinks were fire! Service overall was on point. Definitely coming back.
Really happy that a good sports bar opened in my hood. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. We went for the bears game with a big group and they took care of us really well. AND kudos to you for having some beers for 5 bucks, that’s hard to find these days. Great atmosphere
It’s my first time in San Diego and I was with my Spouse when we noticed this place as it had a familiar name to a place that we LOVED in Seattle. We met a lovely lady named Allison. She had a great personality and was very friendly throughout the experience. And the GM Jess was a Great delight. She shared all the details of the establishment and how much it’s Bigger on the inside. We also got to talking about R Place from Seattle when it was open. Allison brought all the dishes of Queso dip with Chorizo, Basket of Strips and Fries, & a California Burrito. The Burrito was DELICIOUS. The Strips were juicy and tendered to perfection. The Queso dip was used for the entree’s also. It was FIRE! The FAMILY vibe was so familiar and fun! We had long conversations with people visiting from out of town. Definitely a GREAT favorite for any person that enjoys a chill bar/restaurant with opportunity for a party vibe with SO many places inside to explore.
Fun Gay Bar & Grill with a patio and daily happy hour. Full menu of Mexican food, burgers, wings, and cocktails. I had the grilled veggie salad with chicken, and it was very tasty with lots of garlic and seasonings, and a very healthy alternative to the rest of the menu!
Walked in here because we were given a free appetizer. Got the Lemon Pepper wings and also the Churros. They were really good and I may have found my new wing place to eat.
