We had tickets to a college basketball game at the Amica Pavilion so we spent the night at this Residence Inn. (It’s literally across the street). We arrived in the morning and were able to get a room earlier than the usual check in time… lucky for us. The woman at check in was so nice. She also knows the area well so she gave us some great ideas for places to eat lunch at stuff to check out in the area. Our room was nice. Plenty of room and it was quiet. It’s in a good location if you’re going to the Pavilion or the Convention Center. Both are right across the street. There’s also stuff to do that’s in walking distance. We parked in the parking garage that’s right across the street but the hotel offers valet parking. It’s close to the highway so it’s easy to get to Overall we had a very good experience staying there and will definitely stay there again if we’re in the area.
Shawn and Mikala were top notch. Actually everyone of the late night desk employees were exceptional. Especially when dealing with a pain in the neck such as myself. I wish they had parking, but the valet team is awesome too. The woman who made breakfast on my last night there is amazing! I would recommend this to anyone who needs a long term room. As for the room itself the cracked stove is a bit of a safety hazard. Also they don’t clean the dishwasher filters.
Hotel was great--clean and comfortable just how I like it! No free parking though as it's in the downtown area. Right across from the AMP. Overnight parking $25 in lot across the street. Front desk at check in didn't give any info, just key. So I woke up on Saturday thinking breakfast was over at 10 or 1030 but it was over at 930am!! Other than that it was fine. Gave a 4 for that reason and no parking.
I’ve been trying to cancel my reservation for an entire month, and nothing has been resolved. The hotel keeps telling me to contact Booking.com, and Booking.com keeps telling me to contact the hotel. I’m exhausted from being bounced back and forth with no actual help from either side. I’ve called the hotel multiple times, and every single time they say, "We will cancel it today." But they never do. No updates, no confirmations — just empty promises. Booking.com refuses to step in and simply redirects me back to the property. This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I’ve ever had. A simple cancellation shouldn’t take a month. Nobody takes responsibility, and I’m left stuck in the middle. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place — the lack of professionalism is shocking.
We stayed here for a field hockey camp. I was that guest - requested a different room away from the elevator, locked myself out, forgot our toothbrushes, and requested a late checkout. Sadly, I don't recall the staff member's name, but she was fabulous and took it in stride, calling it job security.l, and making light of it. Valet? Check, wonderful Rooms? Check, clean and spacious Location? Check Service? Clearly. Highly recommend.
What a great hotel. Awesome staff and very welcoming. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and i was amazed at how well stocked it was for such a large crowd. Even the valet service was pleasant and fast at getting our car to us. This hotel is very busy but handled well by all the staff. Thank you!
This hotel is ideally located near many of the local attractions and is within walking distance of Federal Hill. The rooms and breakfast accommodations are very nice. That being said, there are a few areas for improvement. We arrived as a Nor-Easter was bearing down on the region, and for whatever reason, there was nowhere to park up front to check in and unload our luggage, as all of the parking spaces in front of the hotel were occupied, and the four valets were inside talking to each other. It would have been helpful to keep a space open to allow people to check in. It would also be beneficial to let the person assigned to replenish the breakfast focus more on ensuring an adequate supply and less on complaining about how busy it was and slamming doors. Pros: good location, nice rooms. Cons: Lack of leadership and employee management
