Rumors Nightclub

Rumors is the best club to dance at in Grand Rapids! The energy is super fun. I appreciate it being so openly queer. The drinks are good and the bartenders are always on top of things even as it gets busier through the night. It's really nice they have the dance floor for partying and the upstairs area to chill. I love going for holidays/events or just to go out. Great for going with friends and for meeting people

Was a great time!!! Music was great, bouncers and security were super nice and great at their jobs! They were a bit busy (it was Halloween) and the bars were crazy, the wait time was looking like 30 minutes. Unfortunately the floors were extremely sticky, it took effort to walk around and dance.

Went to Rumors for Halloween, my friend got roofied and we spent the remainder of the night in the ER. Bar staff were horribly dismissive (security however did great), and before this even happened the reason we got separated in the first place was because the bartender upstairs got upset I asked for a redbull and a water while she was down in the cooler (it was super busy, i thought i was helping since that’s all i wanted and i had cash, honest mistake- wasn’t trying to stress them out) then proceeded to snap at me, rolled their eyes, telling me i have to wait, (i said i understood and apologized), served everyone around me and people behind me, proceeded to talk crap about me in front of my face to the guy next to me, and i had to get my redbull from the girl next to me (who was at the back of the line from the 25 minutes i was standing up in the front). I have come before and had a great time but the lack of professionalism and the hostile environment- followed by my friend getting DRUGGED made me never want to step foot in here again. They should have better service for being one of the only LGBT clubs in GR.

Had a good time here. Even though it is kinda younger crowd. Still definitely a good place for the weekend fun. I will be coming back soon

Great drinks, great prices and music. Awesome company. Thirsty Thursday was a blast with my gf. DJ played some great dancing music. Good job!

Bar service always great. Need a new DJ, it’s all just "jump" songs. The bouncers are just plain RUDE, man every time I go there. This last time I went, some of us knew some swing dances and we were yelled at for doing swing lift that was barely off of the ground. Then he was accusatory and acting like we knew better. POST A SIGN for people to read instead of treating them like garbage for something so insignificant. Each time I go there, new unspoken pop up rules.

If you want to dance then this is the place to be. Definitely the gay spot in this little-big town of GR. The drink prices were on point, bartenders were friendly, and the DJ not too bad. A whole song played all the way through was recognizable. But if you want a safe space with a club vibe then definitely come here.
