Seraphina Spa at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids

From the moment I checked in, my experience was exceptional. Paola at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and set the tone for a truly relaxing visit. My massage therapist, Dionte, was phenomenal, skilled, attentive, and made sure I was completely comfortable throughout the service. The relaxation room was beautiful, and the locker room was spotless. I especially loved having access to both the steam room and the infrared sauna they really elevated the entire experience. This spa truly pays attention to detail, and it shows. I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next visit!

Had the best Experience. I took my niece for a birthday present and it was everything we wanted and more. We both got facials and the Experience was magnificent. It was the first for myself. Our service was provided by Brendalee she was very welcoming and made us feel as if we belonged there. Very professional and caring. After our facial treatment we got to enjoy mimosas and lunch we found on their menu. When we are back in town we will sure to be back!

I initially attempted to schedule an appointment for the following week; however, due to a glitch in the online scheduling system, the appointment was unexpectedly changed to the very next day. This resulted in an appointment being scheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice. Unfortunately, the system did not allow me to modify or correct the appointment once the error occurred. When I contacted the spa promptly to explain the situation and request assistance, the staff was unwilling to help or make any accommodation, despite the issue originating from their scheduling platform. They were also quite rude about it. I was subsequently charged the full cost of the service, even though I was unable to attend due to the error and the lack of flexibility in resolving it. I understand and respect cancellation policies; however, this situation was caused by a system malfunction and not user negligence. I expected a more reasonable and customer-focused response. This experience has left me very dissatisfied, and I hope management will review their scheduling system and customer service approach to prevent similar situations for future clients.

I had the absolute pleasure of receiving a facial from Brendalee, and it was truly an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was thorough in assessing my skin’s needs and customized the treatment to target exactly what I was looking for. Her touch is gentle yet effective, and I could immediately see and feel the difference in my skin afterward. Beyond her skill, Brendalee’s calming energy made the entire session relaxing and rejuvenating. I left feeling refreshed, glowing, and already looking forward to my next appointment. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to elevate their skincare routine.

I had such a relaxing beginning to my 21st birthday at the spa. I had the pleasure of Brendalee making this birthday just so much better! Brendalee was amazing, relaxed, and very professional. I recommend anyone going to the Seraphina Spa at the JW Marriot to ask for her!!
