(Reviewing under a pseudonym for privacy) I started seeing Amanda Gregory in 2018. Credit where it’s due, she helped me very much in the early days, however, since publishing her book and getting a job here, she really started regressing. It really did not seem like she cared at all. I kept seeing her, for she was familiar to me, but recently she sent an email (too cowardly to talk to me face to face, I guess) that she can’t help me anymore, in spite of how bad I’ve been struggling lately. She knows I have trust issues, she knows I have abandonment issues, and tossed me away like I was trash anyway. To be clear, I was never hostile in any way shape or form. She is everything that is wrong with therapy, and I hope her book does well, because she is not a good therapist and she clearly does not care about her patients. Maybe other therapists here are better, but she is a the definition of fraud and she will abandon you too.
