Simply Panache Nail Bar & Medi Spa

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Came because my sister gifted me a 1/2 day of spa treatments and I cannot wait to go back!!! Very clean, very welcoming, every detail was considered in the design and bringing it all together with their brand. I even got a birthday surprise and it was super sweet!!!

I really hate to write a bad review but here I am.. My husband planned this as a gift for my 2 daughters and I to have the Mangolicious Pedicure for my 40th Bday. When he called he specifically asked for us to have our own nail techs. Our appointment was at 2pm on Nov 9th. We we're not seated until 2:28 due to "not enough employee's". Funny being we had an appointment and specifically asked for our own nail techs. We had one girl! Who was very nice and apologetic. So one girl working on 3 sets of feet, this is ridiculous. The girl who was supposed to help had a late appointment she was working on then refused to come in and help once her client was done. Makes me wonder why, being she looked at us several times.. At this point I was just ready to leave. We we're about an hour in and someone else showed up for their shift and jumped in. Both ladies were very friendly and I'm thankful for that. 2 1/2 hours later our feet was finished. $220 later I was convinced I'll never return. This was such a disappointment. I've always tried to support local owned companies but unfortunately I can not support a unorganized place like this. This was very shocking being it had such great reviews. I did see however the few bad reviews it has the owners never responded which is sad.. Good luck if you do choose to go.. My husband plans to call management..

What a wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out. You were treated with great customer care, professionalism and tender loving care as it related to your services. If you are looking for a top rated massage and nail experience, look no further. Serena is an excellent massage therapist, as well as a nail tech. The detail to what a customer wants and what you will get far exceeds your expectation. I highly recommend you visit this spa. You will not be disappointed.

Awesome establishment! All of the technicians were very professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable in their fields. And Lunch was delightful! Will definitely go back!

Place is nice, clean and beautiful! Took me so long to try this place because I thought the prices were too high, but I will say it is totally worth it. Serena was great, took her time, cleaned my feet and the paint job was flawless. She is very professional and takes her craft seriously. Already booked my next appointment!

Simply Panache Spa, we thought was an upstanding establishment. But if you're a customer there please get your money back because their money hungry Crooks. The manager there, she is very nasty and unfair, especially if you have been a customer more than several times. And make no deals, and they will not allow any latitude, especially if you can't meet your appointment particularly that day. I would advise everyone to seek another establishment if you are trying to get anything done there. You need to watch them closely or else they will double charge you, and they're gratuities are over 50%. Who does that? It's ridiculous. A $300 package was purchased by my daughter, already paid for in advance and they tried to charge her $85 for another gratuity, they will try to exploit you if you allow them to and you won't even know the difference until it's too late. It would behoove you to beware of this establishment, there are other places you can go here in the state of Virginia.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. I was given a gift certificate for Simply Panache Nail Bar over a year ago. I have made multiple attempts to book an appointment to use when I am visiting the Hampton Roads area. There are never any appointments available for any dates I need and I have tried several times in the past year. Over the past year I have called several times and left my number asking for someone to call back to ask about booking and transferring the certificate. Since we are in the area I decided to stop by since the website shows they open at 10 am. Only to get there and no one is there. I saw a sign on the door for packages to be dropped off at the restaurant Mango Mangeaux so I decided to stop but there. The hostess called the individuals who work at the spa. No appointments available yet again and the original value of the $150 certificate is now $120 because apparently each month after a year it decreases by $10. I asked if I can transfer the remaining value of the certificate to a relative or friend only to be told no because my name is on it. I asked even though I don’t live in the area and don’t know when I will be back and even though I could just transfer it to someone we know in the area so someone can get a service even if it’s not me. I was told they don’t know what to tell me. I was then provided with the 800 number in the restaurant window that sent me to an answering service yet again! One which I will likely not get any response from as I haven’t in a little over a year. I asked who manages the nail spa, I was told the ownership partners/ staff no names provided of couse. If they are under staffed the least they could do is be more flexible and accommodating when necessary. We have supported their other businesses before so I am definitely disappointed by the lack of customer service as far as returning my calls or providing me with any assistance. Apparently they are in the business of getting paid and not providing a service and are ok with it.
