Nice beach access. Restrooms and playground near the parking area. Paid parking with the Parkfast app was convenient. Slightly steep drop down to beach. Surfers near the inlet. You can walk in peace for 1.5 miles south then get to a busy beach area with restaurants and shops

South Intel Park is such a peaceful spot to spend time outdoors. The water is calm and beautiful, and you can often see little fishes swimming close to the edge, which makes the place feel so alive. The fishing area is well-maintained and a great spot to relax—perfect for anyone who enjoys a quiet moment by the water. The picnic benches are clean and conveniently located with a nice view, making it a wonderful place for families or anyone looking to enjoy a simple, relaxing picnic. Overall, South Intel Park is a refreshing, calming place to unwind and connect with nature.

Take your morning walk and then come back and swim here. My advice: You can watch the fisherman from the beach, or you can be one of them. 🙂 There's a playground for children. There are clean restrooms. The beach is getting more crowded every day. Homeless people have taken over the parking lots. It can get a little boring. It would be great if there was a great cafe here.

⚠️ IMPORTANT BEACH SAFETY ALERT: DANGER ON THE SHORELINE ⚠️ I must caution all beachgoers about what appears to be the presence of Portuguese Man O' War that washed ashore on my visit on 12/04/25. Be extremely vigilant, as many of the organisms are tiny and easily concealed within the seaweed debris, making them simple to overlook. The key visual warning sign is the creature's bright blue color—if you see blue, do not approach or touch it! Large specimens are also being brought in by the tide and getting stranded. You can see them floating around. These man o’war deliver a potent sting even when they appear dead or detached, so for your safety and the safety of your children and pets, please do not touch them under any circumstances.

Beautiful park & beach. People can fish on the inlet. Sand on the beach was soft. It is fun watching the boats in/out the inlet. Picnic tables grills for the cookout. Really nice park. Only complaint is parking fills up really quick!

Incredible sunrises. Very peaceful. There are grills to cook and benches to sit and admire the vastness of the ocean. Trash cans around.

A small park with good paid parking. It has two different parts to the park; a beach that is very small depending on the tide level and a large grass area with park benches. Short boardwalks take you from the parking lot to the beach. There is a small playground for children and a large pavilion that says "This is a reserved pavilion area, please use beach access." A few people were in the pavilion so I guess it’s fine to use as long as it’s not reserved for a private group when you are there. This is the northern end of the beach so you could walk down the beach as far as you want to go and the beach will get larger further down. The waves were large and it’s fun watching boats going into and out of the inlet through the surf.
