Sportsman Bar

Actually the stars should be between 3 and 4. Why? Because this is nothing but a drinking hole that soon will fall by the wayside with the widening of Temescal road. Personally, we love this place... There is live music, usually on Fri, Sat and Sunday. Sometimes they have free food like tacos, shredded pork, etc. Nothing to write home about, BUT it's free for Pete's sake... Anyway, drinks are cheap, they have a couple of pool tables, a hike box, etc. Bartenders are lovely and so are guests. Never had a problem. Again, this is an old style neighborhood bar and you should make it a point to visit this place before they have to close down. Make it part of your bucket list

First thing you’ll notice when walking thru the door is the grand aroma of an open septic tank .Getting overcharge for drinks already paid for would’ve never happened if the bartender wasn’t drunk. Service was terrible as bartender kept talking with her friends and forgetting she was at work. First time back here in years and this place hasn’t changed as it’s still a dump even for a dive bar.Nah I’m good won’t bother going back to many other places to patronize that has better service and nicer environments.

Charlie was the dopest bartender pouring the drinks all night long and giving us a great chat. New but does give dive bar vibes, which I love. Pool tables, a lot of space, other bars in the area. What more can you ask for?

Wow what a remodel can do to a business. It's so nice to hang out here. Cold beer to bad there's no bands anymore.

Cheap drinks. Friendly staff and patrons. Surprisingly clean bathrooms for a dive bar. Free live bands! Pool tables. I have no complaints!
