Steamies Bar

Fun divey bar with a food truck out front and a funky neighborhood location. The drinks are good, but the service was a little off-kilter. We were there for the first half of the Seattle-San Francisco playoff game so that probably didn't help the attention to service too much. Unfortunately they lost the WiFi so the game was done at halftime. It is definitely worth a return visit.

Was it Keva? She was fantastic last Friday. Got there around 4:00 4:30 the bar was full they could definitely use a few bar height tables as there's plenty of floor space. She was quite busy and handling everyone perfectly. She could understand that there were no seats. We asked her if we could order drinks she said sure we ordered two cocktails, two beers and went and sat outside. The sun outside with blinding it would be nice if there was some type of shade structure. Before we could get up to go back inside she was already heading our way with our cocktails. Great disposition, big smile, good communication. This is what a server / bartender should be. She did not miss a beat

Nice little neighborhood bar. Patio seating available. Friendly bartenders and crowd. There is a pool table and sports on several screens

This place is unpretentious and down to earth. It is a locals bar; a neighborhood spot. If you are looking for super overpriced cocktails in a fancy environment, if you like to drop into casual conversation that you work at a tech company, if you enjoy the bars in Palo Alto, if you like to humble brag that you eat at Michelin star restaurants, I'm not sure this place is for you. We like it just fine. Reasonably priced drinks, very friendly bartender, not too crowded, And apparently I've heard that maybe there's a taco truck on some nights?

Think of the most cliche bar ever. Mix sports with it. And a lot of outdoor seating. But with decent pricing. That’s Steamies. Tuesday and Sunday are the days to go. Chill spot.

Stopped by for some tacos from the truck and had a great time enjoying the vibe of the people and locale.
