What I have seen (October 14th) visit: 1) Reception/site maintenance staff are extremely responsive (customer focused): friendly, polite, helpful and patient. 2) Place is hygenic, vending machine, water fountains, showers...etc working at good condition. 3) Plenty of open area to play even without renting a room: padded horse with strips, 2 beds, 2 cloth swing/slide, 1 padded banana shaped lounge "chair", 1 leather swing/slide, 1 lower cloth/swing. The place is well set up for fun...in all positions. 4) The only nitpick that the place is understandably popular and the locker area is a bit narrow but with a bit of patience and perhaps getting your own good backpack, that will help. As for safety? I have noticed a lot of previous comment regarding that. Granted, the neighborhood isn't all peachy, and depending on time of day and various socioeconomic factors (you can tell I am a nerd)...the place is safe, there's staff doing regular patrols and of course the front desk is very attentive to whomever trying to get in. Now again, it's a bathhouse. The place provides a venue fun. For that, it perfectly serves that purpose. It's also a safe space: If one want to visit and not getting touched at all, they can and everyone will respect that. In the same vein, if people want fun, they need to ask for consent, and give consent. In my merger experience of being there for just hours, I had fun with a very respectful and gorgeous top. Of course it goes without saying, evenings and weekends will draw more visitors, and more likely to be able to find someone to have fun with, so...

My first time coming and while it was a bit overwhelming coming in by myself, all of the staff were incredibly kind. I wanted to shout out the young guy who worked at the counter. Incredibly kind and helpful and friendly, gave me kinky orgs to check out that were more up my alley. All and all it was a great experience.

I've always had a fabulous time here. I've been to all the Steamworks clubs and this one doesn't have pools or some of the other amenities, but it's BY FAR the cleanest and has the most respectful staff. I'd go on a weekend night if you want to catch the most Pokemons. Go on a weekday night if you want a more chill vibe with all the dads.

I met my husband here. We’re going on 13 years together. While I will always miss their steam room, I’ll always hold Steamworks in my heart. Thank you for giving me this part of my life.

They used to have a publicly advertised transgender night called 'genderfucked' but they changed it to 'purple' and made it for onl trans men. It's not even obvious that it's for any transgender people at all. I am a trans man but I don't want to support a trans night that doesn't explicitly include transgender women

went on a Friday night, had a great time there with my boyfriend if you're a trans guy, come here instead of the z club. the guy at the z club front desk denied me entry cause my id wasn't updated yet, even though I have a flat chest and facial hair

By far the worst "bathhouse" in the country. Everyone’s just sitting around, very little engagement. And it’s the venue that creates that atmosphere. 1. You can’t see what anyone looks like in any of the areas so I can’t even check guys out. 2. No direction to the lockers. I had three people ask me where the lockers were as they walked around the play areas fully clothed. It’s not intuitive at all and feels super awkward for people trying to relax. 3. No actual steam exists in this place. 4. Absolutely nowhere but this awkwardly huge open room to mingle. 5. Very few people walking around to create an atmosphere of cruising. They’re all sitting on their butts being antisocial. I left the eagle which had way hotter guys engaging in all kinds of fun and what a mistake that was. This Steamworks is a joke. We left after 20mins and felt we were there too long.
