Went to Thicc Pizza Co and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is nice and comfortable even though we just went in to pick up the pizza and breads sticks. The gentlemen that was there making the pizza was super friendly. The rest of the businesses were closed besides 3 or 4 but it was about 8pm. Looks nice though over all. Big pretty Christmas tree up now too.
Casual atmosphere, unique retail options, and lots of food and drink choices! Retail: Enchanted Books is a cute bookstore with gifts, featuring local and indie authors and small publishers. There’s also an official Goathead Hockey merch store, Station Makes handmade jewelry, hats, etc, Bubble Bliss bath treats and candle store, Link Link permanent jewelry, and a few others! Food: Stackers burgers, a Mediterranean place, Mexican food, That’s my Rez sandwich shop, ice cream/custard, and a pizza place! Drink: Ckicky’s Coffee, Boba, and an upstairs bar! Live music and movie screenings, holiday events, and fun for all ages. Definitely worth the visit!
Went here on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time! Lovely ambiance, the live band was fabulous, and the view from the Top of the Block bar is amazing!! The bartender was awesome, remembered our drink preferences, and made a great margarita! We ate at Los Tacos and the tacos were good but I was disappointed we couldn’t get chips and salsa to have with our drinks, and the guacamole is a joke - some weird pasty stuff that is definitely not New Mexico true. But we’ll be back to The Block!
Neat experience! This is a gun and engaging space! So many bright colors, so many food options, so many areas to enjoy. The food prices are a bit high, but most places are anymore. The Top of the Bar hosts live music, trivia games, and Comedy shows. It has been fun attending the events here!
Over priced and under seasoned food from not one but two places. We got Yuka fries that cost $8 and only got 5 dry under seasoned fries. That’s more than a dollar a fry! Ridiculous! Then we said ok let’s get some Asian food. More than half of the menu items were "out of stock" and when we received our spicy edamame and Korean wings there was virtually no seasoning!! Dry and needed a lot of soy sauce to even be edible. $40 later and highly disappointed with the food. Lemonade and boba were good but over all good drinks are never enough to make up for bad food in a hungry belly. Do better, y’all charge so much and for so little effort and it was slow when we went so I expect there to be more effort.
Had a great night with my family at the The Block last night. The weather was questionable but the heated patio made it comfortable. The atmosphere, food and music, was a refreshing step into the fall season. Stackers always delivers good food (stacker Tots are my fave). The Birria Ramen, quesadilla and Carne Asada fries were delicious and was a warm hug on a chilly night. But, I must recommend The Candy Bar! She made fresh to order Mango drinks w/ Chomoy and Tajin on the rim (the cup is yours to keep) was so good! A slight sweetness from the Mango and Chomoy married with the Tajin. Creating a perfect amalgamation of flavors. And candy to take home. Or eat on the road. Lol. The Watermelon Tea was coated on the rim in the same manner. SO GOOD! The Red Pickle was a delightful surprise. Definitely a must try, if you like sour and sweet. The Duros w/ a fresh lime wedge and Valentine. By far one of favorite treats to see and eat!!!!! She was sold out of mini Paletas. So needless to say, I'm going back! Family or not (just don't tell my wife)! Hahaha. A repeat location amongst my family and friends for good food, fun and live !There will be something for everyone. Believe me.....
We booked a private area here for our rehearsal dinner, and it was perfect for what we wanted. They provided a private space with heaters and our own bartender, and it comfortably fit our group of about 40 adults and kids. The food was delicious, and the live music created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. The event planner was very responsive and easy to work with and made planning simple. Overall, the experience was exactly what we were looking for, especially considering how affordable it was for everything they provided.
