From the time we arrived the service was great. The bouncer was kind and paid attention to detail. On the elevator we met a courteous man that was going in for his shift. The hostess was very sweet. & our server, Jeffery, was honestly the best. The food was great! We really enjoyed the chorizo bruschetta and the Beethoven board was sooo good (and big)! The best part was the candle and ice cream my friend received for her birthday treat. What a sweet finishing touch. ❣️

What a great wine speakeasy Wine menu is incredible. This was going to be our only stop but we were told about a speakeasy own by same owner. Must go to find next speakeasy

My friend and I went here for a glass of wine and a snack. The waitress was not very friendly. We ordered and she brought it and never came back to our table. She never checked on us at all for over an hour. We ended up telling the hostess so we could pay. The wine wasn’t great. It was kitschy and cute but felt gimmicky like you’re in Disneyland. Probably wouldn’t go back.

What a lovely wine bar this is. We went there for a night cap after dinner and wished we'd eaten there instead. Everything is impressive from the minute you get in the elevator until you have the wine. Service was excellent and the ambiance is excellent. You definitely get the library feel with a stellar collection of wines. They automatically give you water for the group which is appreciated on a hot summer night and when drinking in general. They use romance books as the folio for the checks. It's different and cute. I highly recommend this if you want to have a good glass of wine in a place that feels sophisticated without having to pay and arm and a leg for the experience. We will return and next time we will eat there.

My recent visit to The Cellar was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly bouncer who directed us to an elevator down the hall. Descending down felt like stepping into another world, and as the barrel-like door opened, we were warmly welcomed by the host. The atmosphere at The Cellar is simply enchanting. With the soft melodies of a piano in the background and the ambiance reminiscent of a cozy library, it's a place where time seems to stand still. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The wide selection of wines offered something for every palate, and we were delighted to find that we could choose from a variety of small plates and desserts to accompany our drinks. For those looking for a more intimate setting, the option to sit on the couches is available with the purchase of a bottle of wine or champagne, while tables offer the flexibility to enjoy wine by the glass. Overall, our experience at The Cellar was lovely. From the welcoming atmosphere to the excellent selection of wines and delectable small plates, it's a place I can't wait to return to. If you're looking for a memorable evening out, look no further than The Cellar.

The ambiance of this place is truly breathtaking . As you head down to the basement, you'll discover a hidden gem shaped like wine barrels, transporting you to an incredible room with amazing music . It's like stepping into a different part of Pasadena - you'd hardly believe you're still in the city! We were immediately greeted by our friendly server upon being seated . However, from that point on, our experience was a mixed bag . While the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive , the service wasn't perfect ⏰. There was a significant delay between ordering and receiving our charcuterie board - a whopping 20-30 minutes ⏳! Although our wine order arrived promptly, it didn't make sense to enjoy it without the accompanying board . In my opinion, the delay wasn't the server's fault ‍♂️. I suspect they were understaffed during our visit . The charcuterie board itself was underwhelming . Some of the fruits tasted processed rather than fresh . The board didn't impress me, and I'd only return for the amazing vibe, not the food ‍♀️. That being said, if you're a wine enthusiast and can overlook the food (at least the charcuterie board), you'll have an amazing time ! The wine selection is vast, and they even have an impressive separate book menu featuring high-end wines . A special shoutout to the hilarious guy manning the entrance (maybe his name is Tony?) . He definitely added to our overall experience!
