The Go Go

Been coming to go go for such a long time and it’s one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately last night my friends and I had a HORRIBLE experience. Within 5 minutes of being inside my friend was physically and verbally assaulted by a man who was extremely intoxicated. We were waiting in line at the bathroom and this man was getting closely uncomfortable to a lot of women and being inappropriate. He then walked up to my friend and started calling him slurs and dropped the n word MULTIPLE times. It was totally unprovoked, he just got close to my friend’s face and when he asked this man to back up a little he started getting aggressive and violent. Putting his hands on him and everything. One of the bouncers then walked up and "broke" up the fight but this man did not get kicked out and he just went back on the dance floor and continued to bother other groups of people. I honestly regret not calling the cops now that I think about it but we were in flight of fight at this point. We then decided we were going leave since we felt unsafe and I let the other bouncer know at the front what happened but the one who came to "break" up the fight walked up and said it was our word against his. Mind you MULTIPLE people watched this altercation go down so there’s no reason that he shouldn’t have been removed. Actually a lot of people left with us afterwards because they were also disgusted. Just disgusting behavior overall and I’m furious go go staff did NOTHING about it. Yall better fix it

Was great have loved coming here on the past was awesome great music great drinks and overall great vibe . But this time wasn't great was told the bar tenders were cutting off because I wasn't tipping. 1. Tipping is optional 2. I barely had the money to cover my drinks and uber home .3 I this economy not everyone one has extra money to tip.

First time going to this bar and the girl bartender charged me for everyone’s tab(did get a chargeback), okay maybe honest mistake THEN my friend that goes there all the time got a margarita which I ALSO got except the girl literally put the whole cup filled with ice and i literally took 2 sips and it was done while my friend got an ACTUAL drink??? Some guy was saying I looked like a minor and maybe that’s why but I showed a valid id to get IN just like the rest? Loved the atmosphere and food truck guys outside but the girls are definitely rude

Y’all need a better bouncer who will kick out someone who’s screaming the N word at someone & being aggressive. Y’all didn’t wanna lose the customer tho and let the victim leave. Hard to watch. Won’t be back, clearly minorities aren’t safe here. Black lives STILL matter.

This place never disappoints... great music, great vibe, great service. My favorite bartender is Bobby. Ask for him if you're looking for a smile with your drink.

Normally I enjoy this place but Halloween was so bad I had to leave a review. Music was HORRENDOUS, just poorly chosen spotify tracks, no blending or transitions at all (just silence), and nothing they played should have been played at a club. Aggressive scammers were at every door demanding money to get inside, with either no bouncers or bouncers who didn't care. One woman vomited on the floor in our group, no one removed her or cleaned it up. Way too crowded with no one counting people inside the building. Frankly, wildly disappointing on the one night that matters most to them. If this was my first time there, I would never go again and tell everyone how bad it was. Appalling.

Went here for New Year’s 2023. Got there around 7:30 and there were lots of people at the bar but… we came to dance so 3-4 of us got on the dance floor. 1 hr later it was packed with tons of really cool people. Not a OSU sweater in sight. Zero toxic people. We had the absolute best time rocking out that dance floor. No fights. Nothing but fun. We cancelled all our other plans to stay there for the ball drop. They brought out champagne for prob 40 people. The DJ was absolute fire. Just go and be open to the fact that everybody is different and you will have the time of your life.
