We stayed here for New Year's Eve and couldn't have been happier with the location. The staff at the front desk was friendly and welcoming during check in and out, and the others we ran into during our stay were as well. Besides the warn carpet in the elevators, the hotel looks modern and was clean. The beds are low to the ground, which would only pose an issue for people with mobility issues, but they may have other accommodations better suited. The mini bar was well stocked with drinks and snacks, too. Overall a comfortable stay, and access to the lake trail is a definite plus.

I love the lobby and the location. There are some very nice riverviews if you get a room with that option. In general the rooms can best be described as quaint. They don't feel luxurious nor rundown. The hotel ops for furnishings in these rooms that are somewhat memorable and lean into that versus functional and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and the staff are outstanding. I've stayed here a couple of times. The restaurant area is very open and looks beautiful but is not always available for general use to enjoy the views. They need more of that, especially when the restaurant is closed. It is one of the things that makes the lobby feel appealing but you can't take advantage of it. I've stayed here a couple of times, I would stay again, but I'm very open to more contemporary options.

Deeply disappointing stay and complete lack of management follow-up. I stayed at The LINE Austin (Room 10001) on 12/9–12/10/2025 and the experience fell far short of even basic hotel standards. The room was freezing to the point that I didn’t even shower. Other issues included stained carpet, exposed TV cords, poor-quality lamps, outdated charging ports, no lights in the closet, no extra blankets or pillows, only one bathrobe, and a single bottle of water with no clarity on whether it was complimentary. The bar was not restocked, there was no pricing for inventory, no glassware (asked for two wine glasses to celebrate our anniversary-but the bar decided to close early-received champagne flutes), and overall the room felt neglected and poorly maintained. Yes, the view was nice. The bed and linens were also nice. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. What makes this a one-star review is not just the room condition, but the complete failure of leadership and follow-through. I repeatedly requested a call from a manager and was promised multiple times that someone would reach out. That never happened. Instead, I received a call from a front desk associate, which was not what I requested and did not address the issues. When a hotel positions itself as a premium or lifestyle property, basic maintenance, attention to detail, and accountability from management are non-negotiable. This stay was disappointing from start to finish, and the lack of response afterward sealed it. Management and ownership should be embarrassed.

My husband and I hosted our wedding reception at P6 rooftop at The LINE Hotel this past October, and it was truly everything we dreamed of and more. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was perfect, and every detail at the hotel felt elevated and effortless. A huge shoutout to Becky, the Catering Sales Manager, who went above and beyond for us throughout our entire wedding weekend. She seamlessly created a room block link for our guests, making the booking process incredibly easy. The rooms were beautiful, and the RWB in particular was absolutely incredible with its in-suite kitchen, record player, bar area, spacious living and dining room, and breathtaking views overlooking Lady Bird Lake. It made our stay feel even more special. Becky was incredibly organized, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything ran smoothly. From the planning process to the day-of execution, she exceeded every expectation and made us feel supported. The food at P6 was absolutely delicious (our guests are still talking about it) and the P6 staff was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and attentive, making our guests feel welcomed and cared for the entire evening. We truly couldn't have asked for a better experience and place to host our friends and family for our wedding weekend. We cant recommend The LINE Hotel enough to anyone visiting Austin or planning an event. It will always hold such a special place in our hearts.

I had a wonderful stay at the LINE! Bella checked me in! She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely sweet during check-in. She took the time to recommend a few places to visit, which made my solo trip even more enjoyable and memorable. Her recommendations were spot-on and really helped me during my time in Austin. I had a fantastic view of Lady Bird Lake! The level of hospitality and care I received truly stood out and made me feel valued as a guest. Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others visiting Austin.

I recently stayed at The LINE Hotel in downtown Austin for a work event, and I have to say—it was an amazing experience. For folks who travel often and stay in fancy downtown hotels all over, it might not be considered the absolute best of the best. But for an old country boy like me coming into the city, this was by far the nicest place I’ve ever stayed. From the moment I walked in, everything impressed me—the room was clean and stylish, the view of the city and the lake was incredible, and the service from the staff was top notch. The food was excellent, too—great flavors and a really nice atmosphere all around. If you’re looking for a comfortable, classy place to stay in downtown Austin that still feels welcoming and down-to-earth, The LINE is a great choice. I’d absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I spent a wonderful weekend at The Line Hotel in Austin, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The front desk clerks were professional and warm, the valet drivers were efficient and courteous, and every interaction felt thoughtful rather than transactional. The restaurant staff delivered excellent service, and the room cleaners maintained everything to a high standard without ever being intrusive. Even the bell staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was smooth and stress free. You can tell this hotel takes pride in doing things the right way and treating guests with respect. Without question, The Line is now our number one go to hotel in Austin, and we will absolutely be staying here again.
