How I love this neighborhood club! People are friendly and fun. I stopped by early on a Saturday night and was dazzled by Xmas decorations they just put up for the season and a great new band playing out for one of it's first gigs. As the band played to an enthusiastic audience, everyone in the room felt like we were sharing something special. Drinks are delicious and affordable, they don't charge for water- even bubbly water! Drop in!

Love this place! The bartenders are always friendly and knowledgeable. There is always something fun happening here. They have the best drag shows in Los Angeles every Monday night

I used to come here every Friday, but this time I stopped by on a Sunday. The bartender was very friendly, and I was watching someone playing with a kind of spinning toy. Out of curiosity, I decided to try it myself for the first time. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke a small part of the equipment. The person asked for compensation, and I immediately paid $40 without any argument. What surprised me was what happened next: the bar’s security guard, Alex, came over and suddenly kicked me out without any discussion. His reaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and extreme, especially since I had already resolved the issue respectfully. It honestly seemed like he had been waiting for an excuse to treat me this way, as I’ve noticed similar behavior from him before. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t have to deal with hostility from security when they are being cooperative and respectful.

Party it up at offbeat where chill vibes and good music fill up your night. Everyone was jamming and dancing on the main floor, it can get tight but in a good way just like o’ times getting that jump boogie on. It was y2k night so they were playing all the pop hits from the 2000’s 90’s 80’s that get you to groove and rock out to. They play no doubt don’t speak and everyone sang their hearts out, it was a moment. Such a mix ground and feels like the kickback block party where everyone from the neighborhood comes through. They got booths along the side wall with small tables for that vip section, they even had a photographer with a backdrop set up to take them old school portraits. Long bar so plenty of room to go up and grab a drink. They have a HUGE smoking patio out back with plenty of seating with tables under the canopy but also standing areas to vibe with your tribe, crew or old click as if it were back in the days of high school. There’s also one of those old school Photo Booths that prints out Over all chill spot and finally a spot where people actually dance and vibe with each other. All mixed and wide age groups. This is the homie spot that makes you appreciate highland park.

I was there on a Saturday night. They played a bunch of alt music. The room was full but in a fun way. There was no cover. I will be going back.

Went to karaoke Tuesday, arrived a little after 10pm and host refused to sign me up for musical karaoke. She said the next sign ups were at midnight. The flier for this event stated karaoke sign ups were from 9pm to midnight. I don't appreciate the discouragement and lack of inclusivity of this host. I guess local hipsters and her personal friends are allowed to participate in karaoke night only.

The bartenders here are honestly some of the best employees ever, they’re friendly, hardworking, and make the experience inside enjoyable. BUT This is not a safe environment. Security seems to pick and choose who they protect, and if something serious happens, yo u can’t count on them to step in or even call the police. It’s disappointing to see a business allow this kind of behavior. Honestly, it’s not worth supporting a place that overlooks safety and creates such an uncomfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, all of that gets ruined the moment you step outside because the security is absolute trash. They don’t protect guests, they let violence happen, and they won’t even call the police when things get out of hand. It’s disgusting that a business allows this no matter how good the drinks are, it’s not worth risking your safety.
