I had a zen body scrub and massage with Melissa. She was knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Great experience! Would definitely ask for her again if I found myself there.

Everything was great here. From the front desk to the massage. We were served drinks before we had our services and after. All the staff was super friendly. The steam room was not functioning but these things happen. The only thing I didn't like was the locker room there was nowhere to hang you stuff really close to the shower like your towel or robe. The robe was really soft but the sandals weren't comfortable for me. Overall I had a really good experience.

Had my first facial and it was amazing. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to relax enough to enjoy it but Angelina was outstanding! Not only did I get the facial but a neck, shoulder, upper spine and arm massage. She made sure I left totally relaxed! Also the staff and amenities are top notch. I would totally recommend stopping in here if you're ever in the area. For that matter it's worth a special trip if not. Special thanks to Angelina and The Oxford Club & Spa.

I had previously read another client's review from Sept 2025 - they mentioned the steam room was broken, there was no music during their massage and that the showers had mold or dark stains in the grout. My husband and I booked a couples massage and specifically selected The Oxford, because it was supposed to offer a "more luxurious experience" with the steam room listed as an amenity. We were celebrating and really wanted to go "all out" to treat ourselves. The administrator called to confirm our appt the day before. We arrived at our appt 30 mins early (as requested). When I asked my husband if he wanted his swimsuit so he had it for the steam room after our massage, the receptionist said that it had broken that AM and she hoped it would be operational by the time our massages were completed. OK When it was time for our massages, my husband requested they turn on some music and we were told the internet was down, so it would be a "silent massage". This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, because it sounds like an ongoing issue (per other reviewers). Why can't the masseurs have portable speakers that connect to their phones or even an old-fashioned boombox that plays CDs? We both thought it was odd that they haven't found a solution to a simple problem. Our massages were very good and both masseurs checked in with us throughout to ensure we were comfortable. After the massage, we checked in with the receptionist to see if the steam room was operational - it was not. I was surprised at this time they didn't offer us a discount. The steam room was part of the reason we selected The Oxford. We decided to shower and leave. My husband noted the stained and moldy-looking grout on the men's side. I understand it's a historic building, so I am pretty forgiving about cracked tiles and "worn" fixtures, but on the women's side - each shower stall had an accumulation of hair in the drain. Gross! It was NOT busy when I was there and I thought maybe it was just the shower stall I was in, but I walked by the others and several had hairballs. I understand the steam room can break down, the internet can go on the fritz (still don't get why they can't plug in a CD?), the tiles can look shabby, but there's really no excuse for hairballs in the shower stalls. As I said, it was NOT busy. I had the entire women's bathroom to myself, except for 2 ladies who were leaving as I came in. So - the massages were very good, but we will not return. The Oxford charges a premium for their services and we selected them for the "luxury experience". I could have had that same experience elsewhere for hundreds of dollars less. We did pay fully for our services and tipped our masseurs (because we didn't think they should be penalized for our disappointment with The Oxford), but I was truly shocked that we were not offered a discount for the inconvenience of their other amenities not being available. We made it clear that the steam room was something we had been looking forward to. My advice to the Oxford - have backup music available in the room - "the internet is down" isn't a viable excuse anymore. Also, please have someone clean the showers regularly after use. We picked your establishment because we were looking for a luxurious and special treat, but seeing hairballs floating around my feet was just gross and unacceptable.

Before booking, I called around to make sure the spa I chose had a steam room. I planned my day to arrive an hour half early to give time for the steam room and relaxation before my massage. Upon arriving, I was told the steam room was out of order. We sat in the waiting room, but the area was warm and stuffy. When we were complete, the masseuse mentioned drinks could be enjoyed in the club area while exiting. We did explore what was in the refrigerator but felt like the person at the check in desk was watching us closely and made it feel uncomfortable, even asking what we were getting. While the massage session itself was good, the overall experience for the amount of money paid, was not.

I spontaneously made an appointment for a massage, and Micheal treated me with such care. He checked in with me regularly about the pressure and made sure I knew that I could request changes if needed. I have been having terrible back pain for a few weeks now, and I finally feel some relief after this massage. The facilty felt clean and inviting, and the front desk staff were so friendly, too! Will definitely be back.

I stayed at the Oxford hotel specifically for the spa. I got the couples message. It was very pricey and very painful for me. I may have got a trainy for my message. She didn't introduce herself to me like the one who did my girls message. The thing that held my head was broken I think. My chin keeped hitting the metal bar. I was in more pain after the message then before. I wouldn't have mind it if it was at like a cheap message place at a mall, but I expected better at a high-end place. My girl did love it. Which is why I just payed the bill and did not say anything.
