The Red Room

Started off slow and was a chill vibe at first, Dj Garret did a splendid job when I was there 04/09 has Hispanic beer and other regular beer of course, no Hennessey tho which is my type of drink. The bartenders were ok they could have washed there wash cloths with some sort scent in them, when they wiped all I smelled was that mildew smell whatever they smell is called they didn't go the extra mile for you to have the greatest experience but the liquor does its job for you. People that were there that day had great energy a small amount of people were dancing and having a good time, I would definitely come back for another round of beers. One of the only places that has a young vibe to it, ages ranged from 25-40+ to the people I met personally. Great spot for a fun Saturday night in the overland park area. They did close early and this one employee wanted to kick everybody out which is understandable but hey, people are drunk and spent money on this place just like me. Everybody is responsible for there own actions to we're all grown ups here in this bar.

I’ve been coming for awhile, always a good time. Tonight they had a Latin DJ and it was perfect! It was sublime. Super fun, we will definitely be back. Bartenders are on point, always feel taken care of. Best late night spot in downtown Op.

Music is good cool place to hang out but one of the bartender was rude he was standing talking to the lady bartender so I wave at him to help me get to beers he ignored me put his sweater and left the lady by herself it took her for ever to get the beer till the main bartender show up and give the beers. Because of that guy I'll probably will not return.

This used to be such a cool after hours bar. Sadly it is now blasting music, to the point where it is impossible to have any kind of conversation. The crowd varies and yes, it has been rough on occasion. Fire the dj, police the crowd, with real police, (the OP variety entrapping patrons on their way from Maloneys) and go back to what you do best, chill, friendly vibes and good drinks.

We booked The Red Room on a weeknight for our company's holiday party and we all had an absolute blast! The GM, Tom, was a great help in getting things planned and set up prior to the event. The staff that worked our event were super attentive, friendly and made sure we had a great time! I loved the atmosphere and decor of The Red Room - very funky, retro, dive-bar vibes.

The bartender at Red Room is second to none. I think her name is Steph. Not only is she by far the best bar tender in OP, she is also the cutest. I think RP is still currently allowed entry.
