The Sylvester

Great cocktails in retroeclectic atmosphere. The Sylvester has creative cocktails using high quality and carefully selected spirits. Went to Sylvester relatively early on Friday evening. It was not very busy so got a seat at the bar. The interior design of the bar is quite eclectic..not super cosy, but mor of a partylounge style. I'm sure at later hrs the place turns to vibrant club. Cocktail list was creative and was hard to choose...too many drinks I was keen to try. I opted for Summer Thyme which is a negroni with a twist...mango is used to balance the bitterness of Campari and Cocchi Rosa. Very pleasant drink. The service was quick and friendly. Barman happily explained the secrets of the cocktail I had. The Sylvester is a good place for quality cocktails and party!

The experience was so good the bartenders were great!! I had never been before, but the bartenders were great with suggestions and I was very happy! They have happy hour drink special from 5-6, as low as $8? A great deal. It goes up a dollar every hour until 8pm. I highly recommend the cruise control for happy hour, you can't beat half price for the quality of drinks. So smooth! My favorite was the blurred lines drink by far far get it!! Thank me later Sophia, Chris, and Kenny were amazing with their recommendations, service, and attention to detail. You need to check them out!

Fantastic cocktail bar with a speakeasy feel. Nestled in between Wynwood and the design district this makes for a great stop for after dinner drinks. Live DJ is a nice touch.

This place is awesome!! The music, cocktails and service made me have one of the best experiences I have ever lived with my friends. Highly recommended!!

Cocktails and vibes. Had so much fun here! Went on a Friday night the DJ was on fire the cocktails were delicious andddd the atmosphere was electrifying.

Chris really outdid himself with the drink he made for me and our friends! Not only did it taste amazing, but you could tell he put real effort and creativity into mixing it. The flavor was smooth, refreshing, and perfectly balanced — everyone kept saying how good it was. It set the vibe for the night and made the whole experience even better. If you ever get a chance to try one of Chris’s drinks, don’t miss it!

Would never guess how cute this place is by looking at it from the outside. When you walk in you’re transported into a cool retro living room with a lot of little areas to lounge and a long bar. I came with a group of friends and we posted up at the bar. I was first to arrive and by myself and the girl who sat next to me told right away that she loved this bar and it was her fave. So already off to a great start before I even ordered anything. The bartender that greeted me was really nice and went ahead and let me know they were on happy hour and showed me the menu of cocktails. They had a good selection too on the HH menu. She also showed me the special themed menu they had for 4th of July which included an open bar from 6-8, in honor of 4th of July. The names of the cocktails are all very Miami and very funny. I had the Merge or Die which was like drinking summer in a glass. I really liked it. Our next bartender Robert was awesome and did a great job mixing the open bar drinks for us, if you’re looking for great service he’s the guy for sure. While we were there the DJ started up and he had great mix of 90s RNB, reggaeton, and classic bops. All in all, this is a great choice to enjoy some quality cocktails and a good vibe.
