Awesome experience here, just enough chill and spunk to fully appreciate the experience. The bartenders were AWESOME and had some good banter with them. Would come back again 100% if I lived in Boston!

Great local spot to grab a drink after work. No thrills, no food just drinks.

Everybody needs to have a great dive bar. THIS IS IT! Long bar with comfy stools. Lots of seating and standing room along the other side of the room. Limited (but too limited) selection of beers and alcohol which makes it easy to pick one without taking too much time. Bar staff have been around and seen some shit and they aren't going to put up with you're bullshit. They are very nice and super efficient, but they have people to serve. The prices are GREAT, incredible for downtown Boston. I love everything about this place.

The drinks flow as cheap as they can, The charm’s in the grit, not the glam. Though the restroom’s a fright, You’ll remember the night— For there’s nowhere quite like The Tam.

What a great dive bar. Awesome vibe and welcoming atmosphere. Can be a regular here for sure! They don’t have a kitchen but you’re welcome to bring your own food in, do Uber Eats or grab a slice of NY pizza next door.

Ignorant bartender would not accept official ID. Refused to read it even to see what age I was or where the ID was from. Would not tell us what beers he had and instead kept telling us to look at the "board". There were only 2 other customers in the bar and it was only 3pm. Lectured me that I need to bring my passport with me "everywhere, everyday" and threw my ID onto the counter infront me. It is a fright that the bartender could not be polite or courteous when we as a family on holidays just wanted to get a drink.

Very tasty draft beer, I love the whirlpool hazy pale ale, excellent! Relaxing time .
