Voyageur Landing Forest Preserve

Went fishing at dusk. Didn't catch anything but there was a lot of animal activity which was beautiful to see.

Nice park, just been to one side of the reserve/park. I must say, this place is soooooo beautiful and calm. The nature is soothing. Ducks and birds around. Lots of picnic benches and spots. Tried to fish but the speed boats are a menace, hence a star less. They just disturb the nature as well as scare the fishes away. Besides that's it's a nice clean place. Lots of parking spots. Recommended spot for picnic.

First catch 3 seconds in. I have added this place to my list of fishing sports. They even have small boat launch areas awell.

First time taking kayak on the Fox River. Nice easy place to launch from. Went up river to the old train bridge in carpentersville by OTTO. I then returned back down river. Thanks to Friends of The Fox River for kayaking advice.

I really enjoy this park. Plenty of room for many different families without feeling like everyone is on top of each other. Quiet. Plenty of shade. Solid breeze. I just wish there weren't quite so many jet skis going back and forth constantly
