Customer Reviews
Water Witch has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 608 reviews on Google
We came to try their cocktails. The server was friendly and attentive. I found the cocktails more straightforward and not as inventive as other cocktail bars. However, the craft was there and everything was well made. They served a Trader Vic/1944 Mai Tai that was on par and delicious. This is hard to find. Many drinks had a tiki vibe which was fun. The setting was low key and almost dive bar-ish. The pricing was good and represented a fair value, especially compared to downtown prices. I would come back.
This place is the "bees knees" if you will 🙂 love the bartenders and entire staff! I’ve been coming here regularly for almost a year now and always have an amazing time! Friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and never a bad drink. I love that they put a unique twist on classic drinks and are always putting out new specials. Emma made me the best drink tonight, and JJ always crushes any beverage you throw her way. Love it here!
Super fun spot for delicious cocktails. The bartenders were knowledgeable and so nice! They were playing some great music. It’s a small space so it gets crowded and a little loud when it’s busy. But going during non-peak hours (weekdays or Sunday nights) made it easy to get served and find a table.
We live in WA state and visit Utah for family several times a year. We found Water Witch through an online search for good cocktails and are so happy we did! The bar itself is small ish but super cool inside, kinda rock and roll themed. The drinks are amazing. I had a tasty espresso martini with vodka and then tried their cherry cosmo which was so delicious! I love when bars balance the flavors in drinks so they aren’t just alcohol sugar bombs. The drinks were super flavorful and balanced, the bartenders are amazing. We didn’t try food, but they do have a sliding door that opens to the restaurant next door which was super cool! They have a small outdoor seating area which is perfect for smokers or if the bar is full, they had the heat lamps going so it was super comfortable even in winter to be outside. We will be coming back next time we are in town for sure!
Super cool little spot to check out. We stopped in for a short time and it was the perfect little place to check out. The painkiller came with a mint plant and was delightful.
We are in town visiting for a short trip and I decided we should check out a few recommend spots. I also read about the James Beard nomination so figured we would give it a shot. We arrived early so it was not too busy upon sitting at the bar it took over 5 minutes to be greeted and asked what we would like. We ordered a manhattan and an old fashioned. Now I know these are not specialty cocktails but I feel if you can make really good specialty cocktails a normal cocktail should still be good. Let me just say I was not impressed, so not impressed we didn’t even take a picture of the drinks. The old fashioned had probably 20 ice cubes in the cocktail. Like seriously what the heck is this ameature hour. And the manhattan I am not sure what was used to make it but the flavor was off and color was super dark instead of a more translucent. Overall I was not impressed and would not go back if visiting again.
Overall a very solid cocktail spot. Really good selections and knowledgeable bartenders. They have seasonal menu which is pretty cool with hot drinks as well. Our bartender was able to give us great suggestions while on the trip for food and different vibes too. Would return.
