My husband and I chose this hotel for the convenient location and we’re so happy that we did! Our first visit to Nashville was a success and this hotel and their staff was a huge part of it. We arrived late Friday night snd were greeted by a friendly front desk staff, then headed to the Bar Car (located in the lobby) where Jackson made us delicious martini’s. Our room, which was located on the 7th floor, was perfect! Very Spacious, super clean with a nice city view. Saturday morning we had brunch at the hotel’s restaurant, Stationairy, which was a great experience. The host was very friendly and our server, Niha, was excellent. She made us feel right at home. Also shoutout to bartender, Heather & Holly, for our very delicious Sunday pre-dinner drinks, and Sahar for a wonderful conversation and laughs. Overall, this hotel and its staff are lovely and we can’t wait to go back!!!! Thank you! 🙂
This was the first time I used this hotel for a work event and it was amazing. We are actually going to use it for our next event next year that's how good this hotel is. Very beautiful architecture, the building is so amazing. Having live music in the lobby of the hotel in the afternoons is just chefs kiss! The bar is great, the staff is top tier, white glove serve. Everyone from the bell hop to the door person all the way up to the event coordinators, they are all amazing and such hard workers. Shout out to all the folks that work in the service industry for all your hard work. I could not say enough, the views, the distance in to the middle of all the fun activities in the city are within walking distance of this hotel. They also have a great restaurant.
The lobby is absolutely stunning with its historic 1900s train station architecture—barrel-vaulted stained glass ceiling, dark wood, and grand chandeliers —but I only lasted one night before checking out early. The freight trains running through on active tracks next to the hotel made it impossible to sleep, blaring their horns repeatedly throughout the night. Also noticed some maintenance issues like visible cracks in the walls and an uneven bathroom floor that made the door catch when trying to close, which felt disappointing for an Autograph Collection property. Spacious bathroom but the toilet situated at the end does not have an overhead light. Staff was understanding and very helpful.
The room of the hotel was really nice, and also since we were on the ground floor we were able to get a patio to walk outside and enjoy. But more than that was the exceptional service and hospitality it offered us. They were organized and respectful, as my son found his Croc in the lost and found, even though he had dropped it in the parking lot. This shows that they even though they could have left it, they really cared about their residents and brought it inside after night checking. Some names I want to mention is Gabriel in Valet service, Veena in lobby, and Chris as bellman. And I just want to say thank you for making our vacation memorable.
The Union Station Autograph Collection property in Nashville is truly beautiful, and I want to begin by acknowledging the positives. The valet team was excellent, and the bartenders were friendly, attentive, and made our evenings enjoyable. Those team members represented the brand very well. Unfortunately, our overall experience was significantly impacted by the condition of our guest room, which was not clean upon arrival. This was immediately brought to the attention of hotel staff. We were told the issue would be addressed and that some form of compensation would be offered, yet that never happened. Jessica, who was handling the situation, failed to follow through—there was no update, no resolution, and no acknowledgment after the initial conversation. To make matters worse, I also reached out directly to the General Manager and never received a response. We are Titanium Elite Marriott members who have traveled with Marriott all over the world. We are extremely loyal to the brand, which makes this lack of accountability and follow-up especially disappointing. For a property in the Autograph Collection, the standards for cleanliness, communication, and guest care should be much higher. While the hotel itself is beautiful, the service recovery fell far short of what we expect from Marriott—and that was the most disappointing part of our stay.
Great looking hotel but the rooms are bad. Lots of noise from the lobby. This is a very expensive hotel that really doesn't deliver. People were great and that was it's only redeeming feature. Plenty of better rooms at a far lower cost
My wife and I had an amazing time at The Union Station while visiting Nashville for Christmas. It is a stunning and gorgeous Historic property, well-deserving of Marriott's Autograph Collection. I would like to specifically compliment VEENA at Reception, and NIHA - Restaurant for their warm and friendly welcome and care. As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite Member, we have stayed in Marriott properties across the board and always receive a warm welcome. However, VEENA exemplified the absolute highest level of hospitality and I cannot compliment her enough. The management at The Union Station are very lucky to have VEENA as part of their team. Thank you to everyone in Nashville who made our stay so memorable.
