Bali Bar Nails & Spa

📍 Gay-friendly spas in Omaha

7.3

Bali Bar Nails & Spa offers a mixed experience in Omaha's gay-friendly spa scene. While some visitors praise the professional service and clean, fun atmosphere, others report inconsistencies in quality and comfort. The decor and pricing are comparable to other salons, but the service can vary significantly between technicians. Some customers have experienced rushed or careless work, while others have had excellent, detailed service.

The spa's potential is evident, with many positive experiences highlighting the staff's friendliness and skill. However, there are reports of discomfort due to backless chairs and occasional mishaps. Overall, Bali Bar Nails & Spa could benefit from improved training and attention to detail to ensure a consistently positive experience for all visitors.

Would give negative stars if it was an option. Took my daughter there for her first mani/pedi. They don't even have children's chairs but offer childrens pedis. The tech didn't even help get my daughter situated in her chair properly I had to initially put her back pack behind her so she wasn't sitting awkwardly (she's 7, not a toddler even). The lady doing my pedi cut my ankle. I was actively bleeding. She saw it and completely ignored it and my concerns. The polish job looks like I had my 7 year old paint them. Had to ask for extra coats as you could still see the nail under the polish. The tech messed up a nail while putting on the sandals to move me to mani bar probably hoping I wouldn't notice. Requested/booked kids mani/pedi, they only did polish on the fingers, no lotion or any sort of manicure service besides polish. Took nearly 3 hours and to put it nicely, it was a dumpster fire. Definitely will never go back there.

They are always professional and do a great job. The decor and overall vibe is cute and fun. It's clean and the pricing is comparable to other nail places.

This place has gone down hill and it’s more expensive than your average nail salon for the quality of service provided. I have tried multiple times and each time I leave disappointed. Many of the techs rush and paint very messy- there is an older gal who does pedicures and is very rough, careless, and all around just seems miserable. She has cut me and when she did my husbands pedicure on a different occasion she cut him as well. Additionally although the idea of a bar sitting is cool the chairs are backless and extremely uncomfortable to sit on for 45+ mins. I think some more comfortable barstools would be ideal! Definitely could use a tune up on training, comfort, and cleanliness. The potential is there but it’s currently slacking.

My daughter and I have been nail salon "shopping" for a few years now. We’ve been to expensive with poor quality and poor service salons and could’ve find a place we both loved. That has changed! We had the BEST experience at Bali yesterday. Our nails look EXACTLY like our inspo pics. The attention to detail, friendliness of the staff and price point were amazing! We’ll definitely be back!

The best mani and pedi experience in Omaha! I’ve been to several locations throughout the area but what sets this one apart is the service. The technician is focused on you and not talking to all the other technicians while doing your nails. I truly didn’t feel like a number but rather like a valued person. Highly recommend this place!!!

Came in for a fill, and the woman who did my nails shaved my real nail down on the backside, making my real nail jagged and frayed underneath the acrylic nails. Makes washing my hair really difficult as the pieces of flaked real nail are getting caught in my hair and ripping it, and it looks bad. Also now the acrylic is rolling off the edges of the nail as it became loose from shaving it down. I’ve never had someone shave my real nail down before ? They also look sooo much dirtier because of this.

Bali is the best for so many reasons, it's clean, convenient, and always accommodating. The staff is friendly and very good at what they do. Our favorite is Jan, she does a fantastic job everytime!
