Truly a perfect stay, Aaron and the entire staff are truly professionals and represent everything you could want in service and professionalism. Room service was always hot and excellent and served quickly by super pleasant people. The tea a coffee on site are delicious, as well as endless quick to go options you don’t see anywhere else ( think chilled chocolate covered bananas, huge gelato selection that looked excellent. Besides that, there are so many pools and the Terrace court rooms had a quiet area with a hot tub and pool. Thank you Aaron and the rest of the team ( additional shoutout to the awesome valet team! )
The Biltmore knows how to do it. From start to finish our stay was exceptional. We were very impressed with Brendan, the tennis professional. He was amazing and we gained so much from our time on the court with him. We loved our room that had a patio and a fire pit. The citrus club is absolutely worth the upgrade. Our dining on the property was inconsistent. There are a variety of pools that are different temperatures and we really love that. We will absolutely return to this resort.
Truly exceptional stay! Amazing property with now over $300 million of renovations complete, and a worldclass staff that is truly dedicated to a great stay. The 24/7 pools and hot tubs, amazing gym, pickleball and golf--so much offered, it felt like we received great value for our dollar. ||Staff clearly has been given the autonomy to go out of their way to accommodate. Whenever we made a request over our 6 night stay, staff took great care to make it happen. ||We look very forward to going back.
We stayed for 3 nights/4 days last weekend and it was a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel was nice but the pricing is very high and generally a poor value. Think $150 breakfast for 4 after tax and tip for breakfast burritos or $60 for poolside chicken tenders for two kids. Valet was quick and attentive but also $38 per day. The rooms/amenities/service were good but not the same standard as a St. Regis or Four Seasons. The building hallways for the rooms had a distinct utilitarian nursing home or student dorm kind of vibe. Really this is a wedding venue/corporate conference 4 star resort with 5 star prices. If the stay wasn’t "free" on points and AMEX statement credits, it would have been a pretty poor value for money.
My third stay here and always enjoy the facilities, service, grounds and hospitality. Spire Bar a great place to hang. Upgraded to a cottage room and.was certainly worth the more cozy and intimate setting, not to mention the patio and fire pit. Room service on point as well. Finally, really enjoyed Josh and Brendan on the tennis drills.
We saw this hotel listed online in several places as a five star hotel and we were expecting that level of service, we later found out via a manager that they’re 4 star and striving for 5 star. The staff and experience is not five star caliber. We were first given a room near the laundry room and service entrance for trucks. Our room opened up to the back service road and we heard traffic and trucks and slamming doors for deliveries and laundry. We changed rooms and the next room was spacious and nice enough, but the bath (which we specifically booked a room with one) was covered in chipped paint and actively chipping more paint and was unusable. The main adult pool was very dirty the entire time of our stay, filled with bugs and many vacationers were commenting on it. We alerted staff twice, including managers, and no one came to clean the pool. We also got eaten alive by mosquitos by the pool, each walking away with over 20 bites each!! Certain staff were unaccommodating and not professional when we inquired about certain issues we had. Ultimately, a manager did waive some fees for us and allowed us a late checkout, which we appreciated. The spa is beautiful and well done and overall we enjoyed our time away, but would not choose or recommend this hotel unfortunately. If you do stay, I suggest the citrus club upgrade.
The Biltmore is a unique experience, and every time we return we're reminded why this is an Arizona gem. The grounds are traditional but spectacular, and the unique architectural features will keep you in awe. ||Be sure and enjoy a meal in Renata's Hearth. The setting is elegant but not obnoxious, the menu has touches of Latin flavors throughout and the service is spectacular. ||Though centrally located for business meetings/stays, it is best when you're enjoying the resort on holiday or staycation. There are multiple entertainment areas, bars and pools to keep anyone happy, whether you're looking for a relaxing lounge by the pool or a wild day at the waterpark. The Biltmore has something for everyone.
