Mint House St. Petersburg Downtown by Kasa

I really enjoyed my stay; the location is fantastic—close to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, and it’s easy to walk or hop on nearby transit. Our room was a modern apartment and featured plenty of space to spread out. Everything was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed. Check-in was easy and tech-forward, which we appreciated. The staff we encountered were helpful and welcoming, and the property overall had a fun vibe. I can’t wait to return and would definitely recommend you stay here when in St. Pete!

The Mint House has a lot of great things going for it. Mainly, the fact that the rooms are like apartments. Having a kitchen (with plates/cups/utensils) and a washer/dryer means this is a perfect place for longer stays, but affordable enough for weekend visits, too. Everything is nice and new. Rooms are spacious and modern. I love the minimal vibe. Really comfy beds. Cute pool area that's great for relaxing. Close enough to downtown in a neighborhood that feels up and coming. Lots of fun places you can walk to. Staff is welcoming and chill. They also have a really cool service that stocks your fridge before you arrive. Seriously, you have no idea how nice it is to have a washer/dryer in your hotel room. They even include the detergent! This places beats an Airbnb easy.||Unfortunately, no hotel is perfect. And while I def give this place five stars, the valet parking is a bit of a buzzkill. It's expensive (I live in LA and I've paid just as much at five star resorts), it's inconvenient (you have to give the driver a good 15 min heads up), and the tech is wonky (sometimes they don't get your notification and then you wait and go down and then have to wait another 10 minutes for them to get it). THIS IS IN NO REFLECTION ON THE VALET DRIVERS. Everyone that got our car was friendly and fast, and they're doing their best. But like...really? You're charging this much to make us use this wonky system? There is plenty of two hour street parking that only kicks in during the day, so you're better off overnighting it on your own and then shuffling your car around if you're not leaving the hotel right away during the day. I think if they were able to offer a more economical and efficient parking option, this place would be 10/10. ||That being said, we really enjoyed our stay there and will def come back! We visit St. Pete every year to visit family, and it's so nice to have a downtown option now that isn't overpriced and beat to hell. Kudos!

Conveniently located downtown St Petersburg with coffee shops, restaurants and stores within walking distance. I like the aparthotel style of the Mint House - feels like a home away from home. Ideal for long-term stays in the area with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. Free parking is VERY limited. It's street parking or valet. Street parking reminds me of being in New York City. There is a parking garage and its over a block away, whos hauling luggage that far? You can park for the day $25 or overnight $40. Cons: there were two cleaning issues. The first was the cleanliness of the the kitchen dinnerware. There was still food residue on them (eww) - you could feel and feel it, esp the plates. I had to hand wash ALL plates, bowls and cups to ensure they were properly clean before usage. I would the cleaning staff to check the dinnerware after the dishwasher cycle to ensure items are thoroughly clean for future guests. Second issue, I went to retrieve a pot to use and there was trash stash by the pots. I presume prior guests left it there, but again the cleaning staff should have noticed this during cleaning. I would recommend Mint House advise their cleaning crew to check thoroughly when cleaning so that guests don't run into these issues.

Great location in the heart of St.Petersburg. Near lots of mom-pop restaurants and shops. Quiet rooms that include washers and dryers in the room. Only downside to the hotel is that there is no gym in the hotel. Guest are instructed to find a local gym on their own and the hotel will reimburse the cost of a day pass. Less than a mile to Tropicana baseball stadium.

This is great spot to recharge and catchup between long trips. Room was clean, the washer and dryer were clean, and all the kitchen items one could need. Even a kettle! Desk staff were pleasant. Valet staff were helpful and friendly, especially Greg and Nick. If you don’t want to valet, you can do the 2 hour dance on the street or try the new parking garage at 1388 1st Ave N. I didn’t use it, but I see it’s 24hr and the daily max is $20.

This is a fantastic location you can walk or bike EASILY to all points. It’s seconds from great food, drink and shops. The staff is Amazing 10 stars there’s a washer/dryer/kitchenette and beautiful pool area.

We used Mint House as one of our hotels for our wedding weekend, and our guests had a great experience. The rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable, and the feedback from everyone who stayed there was overwhelmingly positive.
