The Le Marais was in the perfect location - walking distance from several interesting places and Bourbon Street, where there is much action. The room, though small, was neat and clean and the beds were most comfortable especially after a long day of gallavanting. Overall, every part of the room provided the necessary comfort expected. The staff was terrific - the front desk agents were truly helpful and friendly - shout out to Ricardo, Pierre, Almeta and Collette, responsible for the public area. The Hotel lobby was beautifully decorated with a tree and was always neat and clean. I would recommend this hotel for the location and presentation.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The housekeeping crew is always on top of things. We have a room with a little mini balcony. We love it. The price is reasonable. And it's it's a very central location. Will definitely come back.

The Hotel staff made the experience very special. We had never stayed there before. The cleanliness of the hotel and room were one thing, but the staff: Pierre, Ricardo and Almeta at the front desk were very cordial and helpful. The other staff: Collette,|Michelle and Anna were very friendly and helpful. Yes we will stay there again!|Thank you.|BTW, the location is excellent. ||Ken Doran & Jim Hughes Rm 211|Joe & Melissa Doran Rm 204

Great location, 20 seconds away from Bourbon street. However, we were given a room with no openable windows. It was hard to sleep and breathe in there with very limited air flow. The steam from my first shower never left the room during our 3 night stay. Otherwise a good hotel with friendly staff.

Hotel is fine. It was clean and folks were friendly. It didn’t seem to live up to the price in my opinion. Random small things took away from it. We stayed on the first floor. To get there you walk up a few stairs then scan to get through a door. The door opens normally for about half the swing then you get an awkward amount of resistance from the hydraulic after that. The shower head was hand tight and started unscrewing itself when I adjusted it. And water sprayed out through the treads. No big deal, I just tightened it and it stopped spraying. The toilet paper kept falling out when one of us would use it. The two ends were wobbly and were attached to a piece of 2x4 spray painted black on one side to blend in to the sink. And the 2x4 was screwed into the bottom of the sink. There was a big brown stain on the box spring that I saw when doing a check for bed bugs. Our friends had a similar stain on the wall in their room. We didn’t turn on the TV, but our friends did and said it was "pixely and looked like antennae TV." They are little things that aren’t a big deal, but it was kind of a letdown. The biggest issue in my opinion was the noise. You are so close to Bourbon street you can clearly hear music. We brought earplugs and you could hear it a little through the ear plugs still. We could also hear people in the next room over and the room above. The proximity to Bourbon street is nice if that’s what you’re looking for. I just want people to have a realistic expectation of the place. The hotel itself is simply good enough. Nothing special.

My husband and I stayed December 19th - 23rd. The hospitality was by far the best we've ever experienced. Hotel Le Marais made our first trip to New Orleans a special one. The front desk staff, location and housekeeping were amazing. We cannot wait to come back and stay.

We stayed at the Hotel Le Marais the weekend before Fat Tuesday in 2025 and could not have had a better experience. Anytime we entered the lobby we were greeted by one of their excellent staff. If we asked for a recommendation they were quick to offer suggestions. We would mostly stay here again!
