Alexandra's Muse

I've been enjoying facials from Alexandra for many years - I always book the longer "Belizean Rain" to get the full benefit of the peel & extractions that leave my skin super-luminous, and the soothing mask & other steps afterward make for a totally relaxing experience. More recently I got a deep tissue massage from Kari for the first time, which was absolutely amazing - she really worked out some crunchy knots in my shoulder. So now I will be going back twice as frequently for facials *and* massages. These ladies really know how to pamper!

I’ve been going here for facials for a couple of years now. She keeps me looking fresh/bright and gives great consults on skincare. The space is also quaint and relaxing — I feel at peace every time I leave. Truly a treat and worth it every month.

Went in for a facial with Mallory. It was my first facial in many, many years and was long overdue. The spa was bright and clean with a modern minimalist vibe. The mood was peaceful though, which paired with the aesthetician's touch, made me fall asleep almost immediately. Mallory was very thorough in her approach and my skin looked and felt clean for days afterward. I even got a comment about my complexion, which is a rarity and made the purchase all the more worth it.

I used to see Alexandra regularly when I lived in the East Bay, and even though I’m now based in San Francisco, I still make the trip across the Bay Bridge traffic to see her. Her studio is a calming, peaceful sanctuary, and Alexandra herself is one of the warmest, kindest people I’ve ever met. One session years ago that really stayed with me was when she gifted me crystals after learning my uncle had passed away — such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture that shows how deeply she cares about her clients as people. She gives truly incredible facials, and the massages that come with them are rejuvenating for the whole body and spirit. I’ve never had another esthetician pay such close attention to detail or be so in tune with what my skin actually needs. Her technique and level of care really set her apart. My husband even had his first-ever facial with her, and it was so satisfying to see everything she was able to extract! Also, bonus: she has the sweetest little rescue pup who sometimes makes an appearance and adds to the already good vibes. Highly recommend Alexandra’s Muse — totally worth the drive, every time.

I had my first facial at Alexandra’s Muse and I absolutely loved the experience. She started by asking me about my skin and she gave me a lot of advice about sunscreen and dermaplaning. The facial itself was luxurious and relaxing — it was a great intro given the peel, extraction, and the variety of products she used. She also gave me an arm/hand massage. I also love her studio, it’s very soothing. I scheduled a follow-up to have a product consultation and can’t wait for my next facial!
