Luck and Magic Boutique Hotel

When I moved to Portland for my new job I wanted to explore different areas before I settled down on a place. So I stayed in Luck and Magic boutique hotel for a few days to explore the neighborhoods on the east side of the river. Jon is an amazing host and he has put a great effort to provide his guests with a unique experience. There was a gift card to a restaurant, great suggestions for places to explore and hangout, comfortable bed, very unique and nice bathtub and shower setup. Filtered water runs through the taps. The place is also very dog friendly and close to Laurelhurst Park. What more can a guest in a new city look for. I liked the experience and the area so much that I ended up finding a place nearby. Thanks to Jon for creating such impactful experience with his place. I highly recommend Luck and Magic Boutique hotel!

I was lucky enough to stay in the quaint and beautiful Crater Lake Suite at the Luck & Magic Hotel. This was during the chaos of the Oregon fires in 2020 that lead to my mother being evacuated and her staying at my place. Due to space, I ended up staying in this cozy suite with my two dogs (I love that it’s dog friendly!). The place was extremely clean with personal touches that made it feel like home. The best part- the AMAZING king size bed! I have chronic back pain and finding a comfortable bed is difficult. Not only was it the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in, but I slept the whole night without waking up. The area is also amazing- close to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend this place! A must stay!

Absolutely love every part of my experience here. The check-in had clear instructions and the responsiveness from Luck and Magic is comforting. The comfortable bed, beautiful shower, and clean bathroom exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be making a return trip! Can't beat the location!!

A fantastic place to stay and I couldn't have been more pleased. Very nice owners, clean place with a clean comfortable bed and a tidy bathroom. Centrally located near many restaurants, stores, with a short walk to Laurelhurst Park. I was not disappointed with my stay.
