Ocean Mile Hotel & Suites

The Hotel was much better than I expected for the cost. It is right across the street from the beach at a 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of the big hotels on the beach. The Hotel is under going renovations and updating the rooms. I found the rooms to be comfortable and clean. The staff and service is excellent!!! This is a family run hotel and they pride themselves on making your stay enjoyable. To top it all off, I left a valuable behind in the room and I had to call back from Texas to see if they could retrieve it , which they did. It would have been easy to say it wasn't there but these are good honest people and returned my property to me. You WILL NOT find that kind of service in the corporate-run hotels on the beach. You are better off saving a few bucks staying here and getting far better service for your money.

This hotel is a dump and staff are NOT helpful, arrived at 9:20pm no one at the office, called the number on the window and spoke to Oliver, gave us our room number and that the door was open. Seams cool, however we wanted to get some food and we do not have a key, called back and with no answer. Started getting text messages(see below) and was told to put my stuff in the car and leave the door unlocked. Not cool. Several other issues: No towels, No key, no cold water at the sink and dirty(see pictures). Certainly not worth the stay, find another location, there are many in the area.

The rooms are clean but old. Even though everything seems clean the aging makes it not so attractive. If you plan to sleep past 6:00 a.m. you're out of luck because of all the traffic noise. The office opens at 9:30 a.m. and they were late opening at 10:00 a.m. and I had a $20 deposit on the key and people just left so they make good money on those deposits. The neighborhood is very good he's got a lot of restaurants and places to walk by. Would I stay there again? No.

Oliver is very pleasant and a breath of fresh air. Me and my son came for a short stay to have an experience in Florida and it’s been nothing short of magical. Oliver was very helpful and kind. We will be using this place for future stays.

First impression was multiple available parking spots SO nice. The front desk man was kind and laid back. We started looking around and the plants they have are gorgeous, and they definitely work hard for the current upkeep. The rooms matched what we paid for, but we would come back.

Don't stay here! Rude check in staff. Tried to charge me $30 for early check in when clean rooms were available. When I returned after official check in time, the guy made me give him $20 to receive the room key as a "deposit". Upon entering the room, I discovered the room AC was unplugged. I plugged it in and it would not power up. Check in guy said I needed to reset the unit. I did this and saw the room was almost 80 degrees. Dingy, small, hot room. DON'T STAY HERE!

Dont stay here. Sometimes a hole in the wall has charm and character. This had neither. I wasnt expecting much but i couldnt make it through 1 night. Nobody in office upon check in. Broken a.c. broken ceiling fan. Fully booked unable to switch rooms. Told us to open the window. It had a view of garbage pile in the alley. Kitchen and bathroom were gross. Didnt attemt to use either one. By 2am i decided to check out early and arraged refund with expedia (but couldnt get in touch with the front desk until they opened ...45 min late to top it off) there were no good hotel options in the area so we drove further away to find a decent hotel.
