Let me preface with you really do get what you pay for. I paid $80 for one night. I was flying out the next morning. Check in was pretty straight forward and front desk girl was clearly overworked but still pleasant. There were drunk people asleep in the lobby chairs and a group of "working girls" loitering outside. The entire hotel has a smell of what I can best describe as cigarette, mildew and carpet cleaner. We were on the 3rd floor, there are 4 elevators, 3 were broken so the entire hotel occupants were sharing 1 elevator so there was a wait to use the elevator. When we got to the room the door card did not work. I had to make the journey with another long wait for the elevator back down to the front desk. She reprogrammed the key and back up with another wait to use the elevator. The door card STILL didn’t work. I got back down and this time I’m told that this happens sometimes and that the door pad would need to be reprogrammed. The maintenance guy said I’d have to wait about 30 mins because he was busy. So the security said he would come up with me and let us in with his master key. We finally got into the room but the maintenance guy never came. We didn’t leave the room again since we would not be able to get back in. This was just the check in process. Thankfully the room did not have the same horrid smell as the rest of the hotel. I did not see any roaches as some others have said but the shower/tub was filthy. I debated on showering with my slides on but decided against it. There were burn marks on the bathroom counter and visible mold and rust on the fixtures. In the end we only used the bathroom for the most basic needs. There was no trash can anywhere in the room so you just leave your trash on the small table in the room. The beds in the room looked clean but because of my experience up to that point we decided not to sleep under the sheets. We slept in our clothes over the sheets and only used the pillows that we wrapped in our hoodies. The mattress under the sheets are covered in plastic so that should tell you a lot about the type of business that goes on and any movement makes noise. At the end of the day this place suited our most basic needs of just needing a bed for the night. Make no mistake, you are in the hood and there are absolutely no bells and whistles about this place. I would not recommend this place for single female travelers or families with small children.
At first it was ok when we got in the check in line was huge we had to wait at least 1 hour and 30 minutes then the lady wasn't very lively she looked overworked and very tired. We got our card our room was on the 5th floor the elevator looked rough and we were a tiny bit scared it would break at some point. When we entered our room it looked ok. We turned on the TV and it has very weak signal, the beds didn't look clean so when didn't really sleep under the covers. In the bathroom it had a strange color on the sink and the shower outdated for some strange reason and we went outside and someone told us this place was dangerous and we went out and didn't come back until night. When we came back we went up the stairs it smelled of cigarettes and there was trash everywhere. When I took a shower I didn't have any hot water it was only cold and we didn't want to leave the room at night so I just stuck with it when I got out the floor was completely wet because the shower cover is very small also it was a little wet when we walked in I almost slipped. The TV had weak signal so we had to watch on our phones but the wifi didn't work so we had nothing to watch. The paint was also chipping off. When I went in bed I put a cover under me but when I a woke in the middle of the night and my bed was falling g off the base I had to fix it and I went back to sleep the mattress was ok. There was like no service and someone was blasting music. This place looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while so we left we were very relieved. Overall it sucked. I do not recommend it especially with family. Never coming here again. When you write your review you ha e to answer questions the options are luxury, great view, romantic, quiet, kid friendly, great value, and high tech. I chose high tech but this place is none of it.
My family arrived here @ 9:20 to check into our rooms; to be yelled at as we're walking in that "We have bad news, there's NO ROOMS AVAILABLE!" Our rooms were paid and confirmed, plus we were out of town guest. The hotel staff was completely rude and none cared about the situation. While we tried to find another room last minute, guest were still arriving. All of a sudden they had two rooms available? How is it possible that you sell our PAID rooms to someone else? Not one person tried to reach out to us to let us know anything!!! Especially arriving from another city, and not having a place to stay; at that time of night AND ON THE WEEKEND!!! Guest from booked rooms; coming down to the lobby's front desk in their nightgowns. The hotel lobby was packed and filthy (nasty brown couch) with guest that didn't have a room. This is completely UNPROFESSIONAL, and I will be contacting corporate.
On the way to my room, two other guests were mentioning their TV doesn't work. My TV also didn't work. It said.... "NO INPUT" which means you need to change the HTML. No big deal. I start looking for buttons around the TV... I find none. . I start scrolling through the remote control, no solution. . The complexity of the Smart TV prevented any solution. I take the remote control to the front desk, wait 10 minutes for other guests to check in and the overnight employee says....... There is nothing he can do to show me which button on the remote control changes the HTML but if I wait in the lobby someone might eventually acknowledge me. There is NO ADVANTAGE offering complicated Smart TV s in hotels where customer service is non existent. This hotel has more than 500 rooms and everyone is downstairs with defective TVs. Just give us 20 BASIC TV CHANNELS and we have sports, news and basic channels. We turn on the TV, press up and down on the channel/volume button and that's it! I was able to get YouTube and Goggle TV to work but it sucks. I wish I would have stayed at Motel 6, EconoLodge, or Super 8. All of us with Smart TV s need to spend weeks to learn all the features. Every one is different. We can't learn every Smart TV at every hotel.
Where should I begin. This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life. I contacted Priceline to request a refund and have not yet received a response. This property should not be classified as a hotel. It appeared more like an abandoned house being used to accommodate homeless individuals. I paid $115 for the night and was unable to stay or sleep there due to the condition of the place. Everything was broken and the property was extremely dingy. There were strong, unpleasant odors throughout the corridors, and much of the furniture was damaged or unusable. The environment felt unsafe and uninhabitable. Given these conditions, I am requesting a full refund.
I was just here the 9th -10th. Of January the worst hotel I stayed in. Doors missing on rooms. The tub was nasty horrible. There was no phone in the room the door had holes in it. The fridge was on the floor. The room was so dirty. Th works were very nice though. The people on the hotel staying weed smell everywhere. Just saying the worst I’ve stayed randomly a man kept knocking on are door that was staying there. The pool and hot tub were dirty.
Bathrooms are nasty, tubs need to change asap. Staff don’t answer the phones at all. The phones in the room doesn’t work at all and the tv’s definitely don’t work. A lot of men sit in their car and stand by their cars late wee hours in the morning looking like they wanna rob or something. Not safe especially for ppl arriving to the hotel to check in. The security always on his phone every 2 seconds. What is he there for cause he might as well go home. Overall stay is 2 stars. Anything pass the lobby needs to fix. The hotel needs to brake down and rebuild. The front desk guy name Kevin charge me twice and I’m still waiting on my money back including the deposit of $200. Tried calling the hotel many times and again no one answers the phone.always don’t have towels to give guest. No washcloths smt just close down already. The female staff are pleasant and that was the only good thing and the pool area.
