I wish I could give this place zero stars. The staff wasnt helpful or even honest. The room was hot, had cockroaches, a/c didn't work, the patio door was broken (like it had been broken into), no screen door. Room was 80 degrees. tried to call front desk multiple times, no answer. Emailed complaint, no answer. Checked out after one night, got charged for all nights because they lied to priceline about our stay. It was listed as a 3 star hotel, but it's not even a 1 star. It is across the street from the beach, but the convenient location does not offset the filthy room, broken patio door, cockroaches, bathtub that doesn't drain, or the 80 freaking degree room. They ruined my stay in fort lauderdale.
I have been at this charming hotel for almost 4 weeks now. The location is beautiful and perfect directly in front of the beach. And also within close proximity to some of the most amazing restaurants, and night life. Plus the prices are probably the best you will find down here. But mainly the employees. They honestly probably deserve a raise. Everyone down to they're wonderful housekeepers. If anything as a direct message to the owner. They are the backbone of this hotel. I honestly hope you treat all of your workers with the same kindness they've went above and beyond to treat me. Throughout my whole month and a half stay. I hope they all have a wonderful and safe Holidays with their families.
Positive: Location, location, location for the price. Also, staff was excellent and friendly. We stayed here two nights. The rooms are outdated but excellent for the price. The pool was also nice. I would rebook again. Negative: No cruise nor airport shuttle. Also, there are no chairs nor umbrellas available. We rented lounge chairs next door for 40 dollars but well worth it.
It is low budget hotel, but has a pool and worth the money you pay, since it is cheaper and near the beach. I just have to say beware.ofntheir shuttle service. The guy Charlie, who they recommended led me to believe the shuttle was included with the hotel. He actually said it was on WhatsApp. When we got to the hotel, they would not give us our luggage until I paid him $90 USD ($128 CAD) for a 7 km car ride from the airport. I had to wait until I got back home to Canada to dispute it with my credit card company and the hotel. The hotel took no responsibility for the shuttle scam and the guy Charlie kept saying he would reimburse me, but was just playing me. He wanted personal information and I would not provide him more. He just gave up and didn't pay me nor respond anymore. Beware!
If you’re a fan of high quality hotels by the beach, this place is not for you. Nothing good about this establishment. This is definitely one of the hotels in the FTL area where you may contract a new species of fungal infection. There was mold on the shower curtain, front desk was hungover and chilling under the desk for reasons unknown to me. Dust on the walls makes you feel like you’re sleeping in sawdust. Woke up with mulch in my nostrils… might as well stay in a crab dirt hole outside the building, they are probably more inviting, crabs never hurt me. They don’t let me down. Yeah do not stay here; pay more money and get a nice place for the family where you don’t feel threatened on the daily. Ps- toilet paper is never meant to be one and ply, by two ply or don’t talk to me
Simple fact, I paid for two nights and left not even 12 hours after stepping into the lobby. I stayed here back in August and had a really rough experience. I arrived at 2 a.m., and they couldn’t find my reservation, so I hung out for about 30 minutes sorting it out myself while the guy just stood there. The first room was nasty, smelled like fresh cigarette smoke, and the door didn’t close properly. They moved me and all the travel stuff I had to what seemed like the farthest room possible. The second room looked cleaner at first, but once I got in, it really wasn’t. Everything felt questionable, and there was visible mold in the bathroom, with no effort to try to hide it. Iwas hopping around to avoid the floor like it was lava. and I’m a barefoot person by default, so you can imagine After a few hours, I started experiencing a heavy, mucousy feeling in my chest that I figured was coming from the AC unit. I mean there was black residue all around the filter, and the carpet under it was raunchy. I tried my best to cover the vent with a damp towel in hopes to save me a bit. I still woke up a few hours later congested and feeling the effects. I checked the coffee pot, for at least a cup of hotel coffee! I found what looked/smelled like vomit inside. I set it outside the room and mentioned it to the housekeeper next door; she was un-phased. That is Wild. This was by far the one of worst hotel experiences I’ve had - not even a 'you get what you pay for' level of ok. The beach IS across the street, though..if that's all you're looking for.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would! Absolutely horrific experience! This place is so disgusting, dirty and HAS BUGS! Roaches were coming out of the door when we opened it. Bathrooms unkept, paint peeling. Black mold on the mattress, stained bed sheets, damp musty smelling rooms. The staff was SO rude. Customer service is non existent. Charged my card for two rooms, refusing to compensate any charges when we didn’t even stay. I left, refusing to stay in a dirty, roach infested room. Inconvenienced my vacation when I had to find last minute sleeping arrangements for six people at 11:00 at night. DO NOT STAY HERE! spend the extra money for an airbnb. I hope the health department shuts this place down. The owners are very stingy with taking people’s money but have no remorse in making things right when expectations are not met. This place is absolutely NOTHING like it’s advertised as! Very unkept, extremely outdated, and bug infested.
